I be the guy. Napoleon wasn't short. He was 5'2 in French measurements where the inch was longer than the English and American inch. Napoleon was closer to 5'6 or 5'7 was was average to slightly above average height for a man at the time.

Editorial note for the author: Watch your repeated phrases. You used the “you know what the real kicker is?” line three times after I started counting, which I already did because you used it enough to be notable.

@@MuhammadAli-hs5mn Yeah, I've eaten a few calamari in my time. I just wondered whether the name foreshadowed the human response to the beings who dared mess with us. Revenge is a dish best served deep-fried with marinara.

Wish I was a good writer, this gives a neat idea for a hfy story. Instead of humans being biggest/strongest/nastiest creatures around, they're actually just the only race that created spreadsheets and other such stuff used for administrative purposes. They end up becoming the "nerve center" of the galaxy cus there's no better coordinators or planners. Still great in combat, though not cus of raw strength but because we're the only ones that created kung fu. Stuff like that

When you really think about it this concept wouldn’t work. There is no way a species that had thousands of years of tactical knowledge complete biological understanding and technology to put it all together would ever worry about the human race. The fact they knew they were reading the journals meant they had ample time to create a calculated strategy to basically say “sit down” I run this. This conclusion to me is a them just giving up for no reason

Normalize naming Shaka Zulu when naming scary historical leader soldiers that prove humanity is something else. Speak about African superhuman monster myths. We had giants and tricksers and gods too. Kinda breaks immersion for me when Africa is just this big blank space in humanity's history when we should really be the bedrock. All I'm getting from this is EuroAsian decendant humans were alien Superweapons whereas Africans are true natives Earthlings just minding their own business.

Look on the bright side: your myths and legends prove that your ancestors kicked arse when the white people were barely a twinkle in history’s eye. Keep the fire alive, keep the records intact, and make sure it is never forgotten!
