I thought so too. As the primary audience was fairly young and had not yet been able to do the esoteric reading... many didn't understand what Larson and other writers were sowing. Some of the comments on Galactica 1980 can be quite nasty.... and always come from those who are unable to answer questions about the sourcing. Thank you for checking in.... and being cheerful. ;)

@ oh you’re welcome! I was very young when I watched it weekly with my Dad. He always loved sci-fi and was a big reader, Carl Sagan’s Contact being a book I always saw next to his bed. My Dad is now 90 and he’s still the same. He understood way more than I did watching the show. I’m more up to date on where things appear to be at now but I always inform him. Your posts always leaving me thinking. Thank you! 💫

@@angeliqueivanica975 oh yes.... I remember reading Contact in the mid 1980s and then waiting and waiting for the film to come out. It took a decade+. I'm taking care of an octogenarian soon turning 90... so I appreciate. More to follow... and thank you again.
