The descriptive writing on this is on point. When I listen to stories like this, I close my eyes and see it from inside my head like a film. It was like that with the hobbit and following titles in the series and the film was very like it. Crazy how we have such imagination, even as grown adults.

Well, there's one thing that hasn't changed with time and it's that most space craft aren't designed to traverse anywhere with another craft docked to it by simple docking platforms/doorway entrances made for presice alignment and delicate access by way of people! It would be different if we were considering some sort of freight hauling bay or platform meant to restrain loads for transport! All in all, a pretty good story that induced immersion! Bravo whomever wrote this piece!

sounds like a worse trip than the Zariman Ten Zero. Though the void angels on that would like you to stay awhile, a long while. (its a ship from the lore of the game Warframe, its FTL jump did not go as planned and the void took notice).

If their in space suits how do they smell the air in the new ship
@GalacticHorrors7 ай бұрын
@jonroach9894 These advanced suits include a protocol for adapting to safe, breathable environments, much like a vehicle's option to recirculate cabin air or intake fresh air. When the external environment is confirmed safe, the suit can switch to an 'open' mode, linking the internal air system with the external environment, similar to opening a faceplate but with advanced safeguards. This helps conserve the suit’s oxygen reserves.

Now, if incorporated into whatever this emalgamation that the crew narrating this story is a part of, its been noted that although the capitan is complaining of being puppeteered he is in fact maintaining his own independent thoughts, even after his incorporation! So, his personage remains to some degree, not completely replaced and suppressed, for what it's worth!
