Wow! "Put together by patches and prayers!" I love that ironic line; it always rings a bell. But "surviving the end of the universe," that's bold, right at where sci-fi usually stops; too bad it did not follow that line. both more horrifing than this story, some of it just feels like it was written by a transhumanist fetishist who gets off on wanting to be a machine :/.... there is no horror here, and the only "horror" bits the writer skimmed over because he can't write horror, he's a fetishist and a nihilist :/ that once again isn't horror its boring.
