Good to see some progress. Quite a big project. All the extra effort will be worth it in the end result.

Thanks Sean. Yeah these full builds are mega projects and there is a lot of time required when you’re doing it all by yourself! I hope you’re well

Very interesting to see one of these getting restored, I worked for a Mitsubishi and Hyundai dealer way back when I did my panelbeating apprenticeship in the late 80's. Where I live (the Shetland Isles which is the furthest north islands in the UK) these things hardly lasted more than a few years due to the tough climate. The dealer sold quite a few of them over the years because of their reliability but certainly not for their ability to stand up to salty air! Good project and I'll keep an eye on your videos.

Wow. Thanks Larry! Blows my mind that folks who live as far away from me as you are able to watch me working away in the shed. Given your skill set, for the sake of your sanity, it might be best to forget most of what you know about panel beating! Appreciate the kind words. Thanks mate 😎

@@Intheshedwithdarren Hahaha! Yeah it kinda blows my mind too that we can spy in on other blokes tinkerinng in sheds from all over the world! Who would've thought that we would do this for entertainment when we were kids! Don't worry about my supposed skill set, I did my apprentiship then left and worked on the roads laying the blacktop, in fact I never went back to it. I now fix up old mini's in my shed so I need to watch both the pro's and normal blokes to pick up all the tricks and techniques I've forgotten. Keep up the good work sir and putting out videos of your progress, remember there's always someone somewhere in the world that'll be watching!!
