Thank god for not going wide-body. Really excited to see the end result, also would definetly watch longer videos - this fab work is insane. Love it!!

You said it! The original plan was to widebody or flare it, so we're really glad the owner decided to go the cleaner (and more difficult) route. Plenty more coming up on this one, thanks for tuning in ❤

Love the direction the Volvo is going in and I am thrilled he's leaving the lines alone. I'm all about LS swapping everything but boy am I glad to a 2J going in this, it's going to be bananas especially mated with the T56. You guys are doing an awesome, lookin forward to the next one

Thank you very much for the feedback! With how cool/retro the stock body is on this thing, it would be a shame to mess with the exterior too much. An LS definitely wouldn't be a bad choice for this and would give us enough room for a couple of big turbos alongside, but ultimately that 2J is going to be right at home in this car. We should be mocking it up in the next episode ❤

Keen to see how this progresses. I have a 244, that I swapped a 1JZ into. Engine looks like it should be in there. Built engine mounts, and have kept engine bay metal work factory. As this is not keeping stock front cross member, looking forward to seeing how that goes. cheers

These things are definitely a good fit for J series engines; plenty of room to play with! That's cool to hear you did something similar, I'm excited to show you our front end fab work for you to compare to.
