Galatians , Part 1
In this intriguing podcast episode, Dr. James Tour takes us on a journey through the captivating background of the Book of Galatians. Join Dr. Tour as he expertly unravels the historical context and sheds light on the challenges faced by the early Christian churches in the northeast region of the Mediterranean, known as Galatia. These churches, including Antioch, Placidia, Iconium, Lystra, and Derby, were founded by none other than the renowned Apostle Paul himself.
Dr. James Tour discusses how Paul's letter to the Galatians was intended as an encyclical, reaching out to all the churches in the region. With fervor and conviction, Paul passionately defends the true Gospel against the infiltration of false teachings. The primary challenge he addresses is the belief that adherence to the Old Testament law is a prerequisite for having a relationship with Jesus Christ.
As we explore this pivotal letter, guided by Dr. Tour's expertise, we witness Paul's unwavering stand on salvation by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ. Paul firmly rejects any notion of justification by human works and instead emphasizes the significance of faith in Christ's redemptive sacrifice.
Tune in to Dr. James Tour's illuminating insights into the profound truths presented in Galatians. Discover how Paul's teachings remain deeply relevant in our lives today. Whether you are familiar with the book or entirely new to it, this podcast, led by Dr. James Tour, will enrich your understanding of the early Christian struggles and the timeless message of salvation through grace alone. Embark on this spiritual journey and find inspiration in the apostle's powerful response to false teachings in the Book of Galatians.

I just finished reading Galatians for what seemed like the first time. I'm 59, grew up in the church (forced), i didn't understand it even though I had repented and believed it was enforced that was never enough. I had to continually prove my worth on a daily basis. This heresy pushed me away from having anything to do with a church for practically 41 years. Lately I've had some down time and while researching biblical times discoveries God had KZbin put Dr. Tour and a few others in my recommended views. I started reading from the Gospel of John and just kept going through Galatians. Paul blew my mind in Galatians for i realize the doctrine i was taught pushed me away. Paul brought me back. It's nice hearing what I discovered in Galatians and now Ephesians being taught, correctly, by Dr. Tour for it IS by grace and faith that we are saved and im glad I've been given the chance to understand that decades later. It's never too late. Why do I believe Christ is the Son of God? For one, every time I do a deep dive into the balance of nature and see how plants, animals and insects have such a symbiotic relationship, some cannot exist without the other, and realizing it's an impossibility for it to all work by chance. It's as if it were engineered by a great master designer. I also recently watched multiple testimony's of some who have died and gone to hell of even heaven or met Jesus. The descriptions were so similar between people who have never met and nowhere else describes the details like they do. God has clearly tapped my shoulder and I am yet again an infant, born again.

26:00 it isn't a contradiction to say Moses wrote the 5 books of the Torah and to say that it's a product of tradition. Somebody had to write the part about Moses' death, after all. Moses was the primary author, but it's not a problem if a few other hands played a role in its composition. It also isn't a problem for truth-claims about the Bible. If anything, the development of the books is a sign of God's providence, considering their remarkable consistency and cohesion.

A lot of Education hides Truth but a little Knowledge reveals the Glory of the living God, in Heaven, which is his name and character, and his creations perfect design, that’s finely tuned! James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Martin Luther struggled most of his Christian walk because of the Book of James. Once we find the narrow road, it becomes much clearer, not easier. This is the way! A lot of Education hides Truth!!

@@christopherb6656 The protocol of having a second chance is built into grace, as Titus 3:10-11. But the more elaborated protocol is Galatians. Totally misunderstood as the Galatians thought grace a licence to sin, Paul was hopping mad and used an incident in Jerusalem involving Peter, who sinned and was called out by Paul, he was using the protocol of Galatians 6:1-10. Galatians is about two statutes with God, under the law or under grace, an Agar or an Isaac. It's all in my Ytube video series 'Myths in so-called Christianity', bringing the truth and exposing the Myths.

@@mk71b the word “be” is used which means to become. It is true that we can’t be perfect without Him, but we are to do our best to emulate Him in our every thought and deed. “he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me” we have to take His cross upon us and as James says: 14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? 17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Interesting thing about Apostle Paul being the thirteenth Apostle. Most people do not know that their were also thirteen Tribes in the old testament. Joseph was given a double portion when they came out of Egypt. Manasseh and Ephraim, which were Josephs' sons, were given tribe status. Don't believe anybody that says they were only half a tribe each, that is nonsense. The half tribe of Manasseh was on this side of Jordan, the other half was on the other side of Jordan. Another thing that I discovered just recently that kind of shocked me, is that their are thirteen Planets in our solar system circling the Sun, 8 planets that are recognized by those who study such things, but there are also 5 dwarf planets. 8 + 5 = 13. Amazing how everything just fits together like a glove.

@paulcarpenter37 That is an interesting story counting Ephraim and Manassaeh as two tribes.. YET, they are the Tribe of Joseph. In certain mentions there are always 12 Tribes. The tribe of Dan is not mentioned in Revelation 7- The 12K from the 12 Tribes.. Also, Paul was chosen of Jesus Christ without telling Peter, James, or John nor any of the other Apostles. I find it interesting that Acts 1 Mathias, the one who was cast lots to replace Judas, is never heard from nor is Mathias mentioned again by any of the Apostles, So, there are only 12 Apostles, just like under Jesus Christ before his death there were only 12 Disciples. Paul took somebody's place because Paul was an Apostle of Jesus Christ before James, the brother of John was killed by Herod (Acts 12) while Paul is an Apostle in Acts 9-12, 14-15 - chapter 13 is when John Mark is introduced. Only 12 Apostles at any time. When they all died, there are no more actual Apostles like they were. Acts 1: 22 beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, "must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection." Paul saw the Resurrected Christ on the road to Damascus. There can be no more ABOSTLES because they would have to see the Resurrected Jesus Christ.

@@Alec_Cox In a perfect world, 12 Tribes would have been sufficient for God, but as you can see, we do not live in a perfect world. God had to work with imperfect men and thereby letting us know of our sin of disobedience to Him. 13 Tribes, 13 Apostles, and 13 Planets are symbols of that disobedience. I'm sure that when God created our Solar System there were only 12 earth like planets orbiting the sun as well, but due to man's sin of disobedience the earth changed and I am sure that the Solar System as well as the whole of the Universe changed too. During Christ's 1000 year reign, He will begin to change all this back to the way it was meant to be in the beginning with the FATHER'S blessings.

@@paulcarpenter3748 You can have your speculations, but it is quite simple to see that there are only 12 tribes listed in any part of the Bible Substituting Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh were interchangeable Tribes because there were already 12 Tribes before the Exodus.) for Dan before the tribe of Dan got kicked out. Paul was alive when there were still 12 Apostles and they died off: James in Acts 12, was the first to die by the sword, then at least 5 died by the end of Acts, Including Paul, who actually died in Rome. Peter never went to Rome nor was he ever jailed in Rome, Acts 18 :2 points out that all Jews were forced out of ROME (Italy) - "and found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them. The last Apostle to die was John. John lived after Patmos in Ephesus, Where he discipled Polycarp and Ignatius until he died. The 13 doesn't ft anywhere, but you can try and spread that if you'd like. 13 planets, etc,.etc. You have to read the Bible and not what someone has written. There are no secret codes in the Bible, Many have come up with some, but they don't mean diddly squat.

Galatians 1:4 is one of many interesting verses that sort of object to the fact that the death and therefore blood sacrifice of 'Jesus' Yahusha or Yasha is not so as many man made beliefs now teach. I believed it for a long time but now I'm seeing the light more and more. Yahusha says he goes to prepare a place for us in His Father's house. We're supposed to do the will of the Father on earth as it is in heaven. The tabernacle and utensils used in the tabernacle then the temple are ALL exact replicas of the ones in heaven. Why would it be on earth as it is in heaven? Is that metaphorical or literal? Nearly everyone believes in the Trinity although the opening of Galatians really kills that idea and 100s of other verses but also my point on PSA, which is the belief that Yah sacrificed His Son in a blood sacrifice ritual for our salvation. Verse 4 is interesting because it says "who gave Himself for our sins, that he MIGHT deliver us from this present evil world." Why doesn't it say He gave himself for our sins and delivered us from the present evil world? If the blood sacrifice as so many believe was the goal then why are there so many verses that say Yahusha is going to be the high priest in heaven, He's going to prepare a place, He's going to ...... there are a lot of verses that lend to that thought process. Then, I know we ALL love to seperate ourselves from the OT but Yahusha didn't, the apostles didn't, they all spoke of it on a regular. They observed it even after Yahusha death. Let's talk about the translation of the Greek into English in 7 places but for brevity let's just mention Mark 16:2, Mark 16:9, Luke 24:1, Acts 20:7. Did the Greeks really not have a term for week or day? Why didn't they use the word for first instead of the word for one? If you don't know either take the text from the Receptus, copy and paste it into google translate or you can just read the Coverdale bible, the Great bible, or the bishops bible from the past. I think it's time for true believers to stop living their comfortable lives, with their comfortable thoughts and look at what we've seen in the last 10 years with how we've been misled by the mainstream in general but as James brings up at the beginning, the deception is going to be real but the question is.... is it coming or has it been set in place slowly but surely since day one? If you think you live in a protestant founded nation in the U.S. ask yourself why the white house is named as such. Then ask why the White house just so happens to straddle the 2 states that it straddles. Let's just say what if everything you think you know about our country and it's founding is not what it seems and it was really the same old dark church sending its goons our in deception. Would that knowledge make you question your entire belief system? What if everyone who is super successful, educated, and makes the world spin are really deceived themselves for the most part and not adding value but recycling the value that the regular person produces. What if vaccines like the polio vaccine didn't really stop polio and the use of DDT stopped it. What if only the very tangible things you can touch and see that have made a difference are really the only things at all? What if the bad guys, who are on the other team are the ones who set up the hospitals, the charities, the foundations, and all the things that look good and do some good or even lots of good but underneath they are only being used for deceit? Is it possible that the powers that be aren't actually contributing like we think but siphoning off good hearted peoples value? I'm not speaking of James Tour, I love him to death. He's got a great heart and he means well 100% of the time but what if even he's been deceived to an extent, in many ways but also he says a lot of deceit too. Abiogenesis is one issue he sees but what if he's not seeing many many others? The point is if you think that we've only been misled a little in certain areas but things like the bible, we know because the holy spirit has us covered, what if that's not true? Meaning we may be covered but our own hearts desires allow us to continue to believe in man made doctrines. We pluck tiny itty bitty verses out, here and there to make the bible say what we want when the totality doesn't say that at all. If the Father, Yah said to remember something that He sanctified from the beginning until the end, should we forget about it because some men say it doesn't apply to us? Wake up, wake up, wake up. Don't argue with me, prove to yourself I'm wrong. Don't prove it to me because it's a waste of both our time. If you're reading this and disagreeing with everything don't just say "ah, he's crazy. Look at how he refers to Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. He's one of those radicals." Tell me, in what world or time was Jesus referred to as Jesus? Why is His name not Joshua? Why are both their names not the same as Isaiah's Hebrew name Yashayahu? They are all spelled the same minus a Yod for Yahusha and the late addition of the niqqud. Why do scholars say it's Yahweh but all the biblical characters Hebrew names have Yahu in them then when it comes to Jesus name it's Yeh Shua? Would we change the name of Yah for the sake of language? Why does shua mean to cry out in Hebrew? Why does yasha mean to save but Yeshua is salvation without Yah's name? So yeshua would mean, God cries out (for help) if Yeh meant God but it's supposed to be Yah. Yees-ra-el or Ish-ra-el is the Hebrew version of Israel. In Hebrew, ra only means one thing period, BAD. So bad man of God? The bible says over and over that Yah's people will have His name. We should not take the name in vain. Yahusha says He has made His Father's name known. Reread the bible without your premade from man beliefs and try again. Get on your knees and ask Yah for the truth. Not one day, not once a day, not once a week, not once a month, every day, several times a day and your life will change.

IF PAUL wrote Galations to defend by grace & faith 4:15 "alone", then the writings in James incredibly CONTRADICTED it! In James it explicitly states that "Faith without works is DEAD" and rightfully so, since Jesus states every tree must bear fruit, or it will be cut down and thrown in the fire! Faith REQUIRES ACTION! GRACE REQUIRES ACTION to utilize it to its fullest! Grace IS NOT free! It cost our Saviour every drop of His precious blood. LOVE is a verb...it is an ACTIONABLE word. "He who loves me, keeps my commandments ". " NO greater love than this is to lay one's life down for a friend. Love REQUIRES action.

The works justifies the man, not saves the man. In other words, the man's faith is justified by his works. The works would be a by-product of his faith...unlike the demon's faith. Many have tried to use James's example of the Christians faith vs the demon's faith (belief) as a tool to attempt to show contradiction. However, it's always just a misunderstanding or a malicious attempt to discredit the scripture.

Love is a VERB, it is an ACTIONABLE word that we will be held to account GOSPEL of Matthew final Judgement tells us God asks us what we DID, NOT what we believe! He asks did you feed me when I was hungry? Clothe me when I was naked? Did you come visit me in prison? In the hospital? Did you take me in when I was a stranger? JUDGEMENT is based on what we DID OR DID NOT DO! PERIOD! THAT sir is the GOSPEL!

@@robertstevenson3281 It looks like you misunderstood me. I agree with pretty much all you said in your last comment. You came along and said that James contradicted Paul but you haven't explained how. Paul says we are saved by grace through faith and James say the man is "JUSTIFIED" (not saved) by his works. This clearly means that our works will be the fruit of the person of faith/belief. OF COURSE we do works of good. That's because God loves all and we want to reflect the love of God. But those works don't save us, it JUSTIFIES the man (read James again). We may be rewarded for good works however. James even gave a perfect example. The demons have faith but their faith doesn't produce works of good but rather evil. You are pitting Paul against James, but why? So yes, faith (the Christian's belief) without works is not justified (it's dead). What I'd like to know is how you and the Catholics and all the other "works based salvation" cults get that confused? In my comment I said it's always a misunderstanding OR a malicious attempt. I'm not claiming you are being malicious, but perhaps misunderstanding instead. But it does seem I struck a sensitive nerve, lol.

@@TheGuy.. A passionate nerve, without any malicious intent whatsoever! You are my brother in Christ! I want everyone's salvation and I have a passion for the truth. I have heard some take the "works are a dirty rag" argument to literally condemn Mother Theresa to hell. There is not even ONE person that the church fathers have ever said are in hell with assurance, and use "Most likely" in hell for people like Judas, whom the Lord said Himself "It is better him not to ever have been born", which leaves us with a conclusion that hell is the only thing worse than non-existence. Bottom line is Love is an action word. No man can ever expect to earn his/her way into heaven without the grace of God and accepting Him. Jesus is the judge and denying/rejecting Him only gets you most likely rejecting Him in your final hour, due to lack of grace. God is merciful beyond our comprehension, and is also perfectly just. We are more in agreement than disagreement based on your last response. I just prefer that when the gospel is presented, it is presented in FULL. Love is an ACTION not an emotion. This world gets this concept confused far too much for our own good. God bless you.

James baptism of the Spirit is by the pledge of faith, then justified by faith you have access to grace in the church, and the atonement of past sins and by faith sin no more. I have my own Ytube video series 'Myths in so-called Christianity', and in my #1 Paul proves grace is merited in Romans 11:6.

If The New Testament is a repudiation of The Old Testament then Our Father is not perfect but He is. Truth has many layers/complexities and also Spirit infused. Scripture is Hebraic through and through, it is not wise to approach it with a Greco-Roman mindset!

You seem like a logical individual, so when you say people want to add to the gospel of Paul. Would Paul preach a different gospel than that of Jesus? By grace alone and faith alone, which alone would it be? Grace being Gods unmerited favor to mankind, and faith. What is biblical faith? Faith comes by hearing “obeying” the word of God. “All those who hear these sayings of mine and does them…” -Jesus Jesus also says, “ unless you repent, you all will perish.” Is that all I have to do? Jesus says we must confess him before men or He’ll deny those who do not. Is that all I have to do? Jesus says,” for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” Is that all I have to do? Jesus says, “he that believes & is immersed shall be saved..” Is that all I have to do? Jesus says, “Go therefore, & teach all nations, immersing them in the name of F, S, & HS..” Ps 119:160 The sum of thy word is truth.. Devil quotes scripture to deceive Jesus, but Jesus fills in other scripture to straighten out the deceiver.. We must hear all Gods says on the matter. Noah found grace in eyes of the God, & God gave him a set of instructions by which he may choose to obey. God didn’t build ark for him, but instructed him how. How was Noah saved from the disobedient people of that generation? “..we’re saved through water. There is an antitype which now saves us-immersion (not the removal of filth of the flesh, but the answer of good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ..” Many more examples, but this is the simplest. Paul does not teach another gospel than Jesus. We must hear (obey) the whole gospel, not 1 verse lest we be deceived by the devil, b/c his trickery is this alone, that alone.. DONT BE DECEIVED

Be careful to not fall for the ‘false church’ deception(πλάνη) of ‘lawlessness’(2 Pet. 3:17). Paul is the most misunderstood disciple from the New Testament. So incredibly misunderstood that people twist and distort his letters to their own destruction into lawlessness (2 Pet. 3: 14-17). We are saved through grace (Eph. 2:8), but we are justified by our works, not by faith alone (Jam. 2:24). Not the hearers of the law will be righteous but the doers of the law (Rom. 2:13) Don’t be hostile to Gods perfect and holy law (Rom. 7:12 & 8:7-13), don’t forsake Moses! Jesus never did or taught that (Matt. 5:17-20 / Luke 18:18-22), but eventually got crucified for this FALSE accusation. Paul also never did and never taught this or did anything against the law of Moses, although Paul was FALSELY accused that he did so and eventually was murdered for it (Acts 25:8, Acts 28:17, Acts 21:19-24) We have to become more like Jesus. He is our teacher, our perfect example. Do what he did and do what he said (Matt. 7:21) Honor God in everything, don’t profane the Shabbat, honor your parents, don’t eat forbidden things or blood, treat your neighbors as yourself etc.. don’t wonder from the truth (Jam. 5:19-20) don’t teach anyone to forsake even the least of these commandments (Matt. 5:17-20). If we don’t leave the elementary doctrine of Christ, and we deliberately act against the law, and keep breaking his commandments, we crucify Jesus again (Heb. 6:1-20) and there remains no sacrifice and will be judged (Heb. 10:26-27) All what is written in the the ‘Old Testament’ is profitable for reproof (2 Tim. 3:16). There was no ‘New Testament’ scripture written yet! And the Law will not pass away or made void until heaven and earth pass away (Matt. 5:17-18). Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law (1Jo 3:4). Be careful we aren’t going to be disqualified (1 Cor. 9:27). The ones who are written in the book of life will be judged by their deeds (Rev. 20:12) the ones who are not written in the book of life are immediately thrown into the fire (Rev. 20:15). Consider this; we definitely need the laws from the Old Testament to explain the New Testament and to show what is sinful (2 Tim. 3:16). This passage in 2 Timothy refers to the Old Testament scripture because there was no New Testament scripture yet. I would also like to point out the passage in Acts 15:20: “but should write to them to abstain from the things polluted by idols, and from sexual immorality, and from what has been strangled, and from blood.” How would you know what this verse means? How do you know what they mean by “to abstain from blood”? Are they referring to menstrual blood? Or is this about wounds? Do they mean eating blood? Do they mean blood in general? Etc. So many questions that can never be explained by only the New Testament. And remember that this passage is about what is necessary to be saved. Not what pleases God in general, but what is necessary for salvation! So we have to understand what they meant by this verse otherwise we have no salvation anyway. We can never explain this verse without going to the Old Testament to read what the law says about “blood or things strangled”… This is exactly the same with all sin. That is why they say in the following verse that Moses can be heard throughout all the synagogues (Acts 15:21), so that the gentiles may learn it. We can’t just pick and choose. If we pick and choose what’s right or wrong, we make a distorted God (which is Idolatry). We make His words void and replace his commandments by our own traditions and the commandments of men (Mark 7:8). The one who thinks he is standing firm should be careful not to fall (1 Cor. 10:9). Jesus came to give us the new covenant, the promise of a new heart through the Holy Spirit. “ And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, *and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules* “ Ezekiel 36:26-27 What Jesus preached: Jhn 8:11 - She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, *and from now on sin no more.* Jhn 9:31 - We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. Jhn 5:14 - Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! *Sin no more,* that nothing worse may happen to you.” In my opinion Paul was, and still is the most misunderstood of all the characters mentioned in the New Testament. Paul thinks in concepts and therefore is a lot of times misunderstood. He mostly is misunderstood with handling the Law of God (or Torah). Like Jesus was also misunderstood and killed for it. Think about that for a moment because that helped me a lot to grasp the New Testament Way. Jesus kept the Torah perfectly, and therefore was sinless. All the time the Pharisees an Sadducees accused him for breaking the Torah. They did it so cunningly that I, as a reader of the Bible, almost got mislead with their accusations and used to believe (also from church) that Jesus broke the Torah (like with the sabbath ‘breaking’). But Jesus never ever once broke the Torah. If He did, he didn’t live a sinless life. He never teached anyone to abolish the commandments, on the contrary (Luke 16:17 / Romans 3:31 / Matt. 5:17-20 / Luke 18:18-22 ). What did the first apostles preached: 1Jo 3:4 - Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. Jas 4:8 - Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Paul preached exactly the same: Rom 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we *were* yet sinners, Christ died for us. Rom 6:1 & 2 - What shall we say then? Are we to *continue in sin* that grace may abound? *By no means!* How can we who died to sin still live in it? Rom 6:6 - We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would *no longer be enslaved to sin.* 1Co 9:27 - But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. Heb 12:4 - In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. Heb 12:1 - Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also *lay aside every* weight, and *sin* which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 1Ti 5:20 - *As for those who persist in sin,* rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear. 1Co 10:1-6 - For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and *all were baptized* into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ. Nevertheless, *with most of them God was not pleased,* for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things took place *as examples for us,* that we might not desire evil as they did. 1Co 10:11 & 12 - Now these things happened to them as an example, but they were written down for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. *Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall.* 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. If Paul taught the Law is done away with, why does he say that it identifies with sin? (Romans 7) “For truly I tell you, *until heaven and earth disappear* , not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that *unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees* and the teachers of the law, you will certainly *not enter the kingdom* of heaven” (Matthew 5:17-20) Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat, *so do and observe whatever they tell you* , but not the works they do. For they preach, but do not practice. (Matthew 23:1-3)

I therefore call on all of you to repent of your theology and the doctrine you adhere to. By this I mean the doctrine of lawlessness. Christians need to repent of their sins (aka; breaking the law/lawlessness). As long as a Christian is hostile to the law of God, he is not living by the Spirit and has not that new heart that is promised (Romans 8:7-13, Hebrews 8:10, Ezekiel 11:19-21, Ezekiel 36: 26-27 and Jeremiah 31:33). The new heart makes you love His commandments from your heart and break the enmity against His law. For God already speaks in Isaiah about the time when the Gentiles will join Israel: Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath, not profaning it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.” Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the LORD say, “The LORD will surely separate me from his people” and let not the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.” For thus says the LORD: “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose the things that please me and hold fast my covenant, I will give in my house and within my walls a monument and a nam better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off. “And the foreigners who join themselves to the LORD, to minister to him, to love the name of the LORD, and to be his servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it, and holds fast my covenant- these I will bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.” The Lord GOD, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, declares, “I will gather yet others to him besides those already gathered.” If you do not love His laws, including the Sabbath, then you are not filled with His Spirit. For these things are the sign that you belong to God: I, the LORD, am your God: keep my statutes and my rules, and keep them. Keep my Sabbath as a holy day; this will be a sign to you and to Me, that I, the LORD, am your God. Ezekiel 20:19-20 Now you can say that you have replaced the Sabbath with Sunday, but Sunday is not the Sabbath. Besides, who are you to change God's times and laws? It’s more a sign of the Antichristen do so (Daniel 7:25). The Sabbath is not merely the meaning of a day of rest but is a specific day chosen by God. The day as we call Saturday is still called Sabbath in most languages and countries. The Bible always spoke of the first day (which we call Sunday), the second day (which we call Monday), the third day (which we call Tuesday), the fourth day (which we call Wednesday), the fifth day (which we call Thursday), the sixth day (which we call Friday), the sabbath day (which we call Saturday). God looks upon your heart, and if He sees that your heart is not renewed in the Spirit of which Ezekiel and Jeremiah speak, then you are not well pleased with Him, but He is not well pleased with you either. But now you may wonder if that is not a legalistic belief that I am now proclaiming… The contrary! I want you to understand what faith means. It does not depend on what one does, but where one's heart is set upon. Namely, many Christians think legalistically in my view. Thoughts like, “If I am baptized, I am saved” or “If I proclaim Jesus' name, I am saved” or “If I feel I belong to Him, I am saved.” These are, in my view, all legalistic thoughts. For it is not at all about what you do, but from where your heart is directed. If you proclaim Jesus, but have not "put on" him, your faith means nothing. If you are baptized to wash away sins, when you are not dead to sin, then your baptism and faith means nothing. Baptism is just a ritual. Rituals mean nothing and do nothing. It's just a seal on your dying to sin. If you have been baptized into Christ, but have not been raised into Christ, then your baptism means nothing. God is not to be messed with. He cannot endure a meeting (Sunday church service) if you continue to sin. You think that none of us are without sin, and you see well. However, that does not mean that one continues to sin, or to continue to break the law. The law did not come to save people from death. That never has been and never will be. Keeping the whole law would not mean you would enter the kingdom of God. For if you have not committed adultery with your flesh, it does not mean that you have not committed adultery with your heart. The law came because of sin (Galatians 3:19) and there is no promise of eternal life attached to that law. For in the books of Moses not a word is mentioned about entering the kingdom of heaven or about entering hell. The law did not come to save you from hell. The law has come so that you may know what sin is. So breaking that law is always a sin. Now you can think that the previous covenant has been nullified by the new one. Paul says in Galatians: “To give a human example, brothers: even with a man-made covenant, no one annuls it or adds to it once it has been ratified. This is what I mean: the law, which came 430 years afterward, does not annul a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to make the promise void. Galatians 3:15, 17 If a previous covenant supersedes a later covenant, then the promise made to Abraham has been superseded by the covenant with Moses. However, that is not the case. Every covenant, broken by man or not, still shows what the will of God is for man. But what does Paul mean when he says in Hebrews 8:13? He still keeps the law of marriage. He still describes that there is a law of marriage. He is not talking about the fact that the law of marriage has been done away with, for he is describing that the wife would commit adultery if her husband were still alive. Then he obviously describes that there is a law that says that a woman is free from adultery if she were to marry another man. If the law of marriage were done away with, he would not invoke the marriage law that says that a woman is free to marry whomever she pleases. That marriage law is according to Paul still in effect. Does Paul then contradict Jesus? Does Paul then contradict James? Certainly not! Paul is only misunderstood by many. As Peter also says in 2 Pet. 3:14-17

Paul did always refer to what the law says: 1 Cor. 9:8-9 - Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? For it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Run the race as an athlete like Paul did. (1 Cor. 9:24-27). Like Paul also said: we need to grow up for solid food, not milk. (Hebrews 5:11-14) We need to leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity (Hebrews 6:1) Jesus had finished the finish line. Not us yet. Can you drink from the same cup as He did? (Matthew 20:22) Can you take up your cross and resist sin to the point of shedding your blood? (Matthew 16:24 / Hebrews 12:4) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6 Yes salvation comes by faith alone. But faith without works is a dead faith (no faith at all). Faith doesn’t mean believing that God exist and that Jesus is Lord. Repentance doesn’t mean to believe that God exists. “You believe that God is one; you do well. But the demons also believe this, and tremble.” James 2:19 The english translations often use one word repentance’ for two different Greek words. There are two types of "repentance". In Greek, a distinction is already made in the wording with the words ἐπιστρέφω (epistrepho) and μετανοέω (metanoeo). In English this is somewhat more clearly translated as “Converting” which refers more to “turning around or returning” and “repenting” which refers more to “an adjustment of the moral thinking” or “repenting from sins”. If you just think that the belief that God exists is enough, then you will fall short of God. That is not repentance. For the demons, as James says, also believe that God exists, but they are not converted to God. In addition, they are not at all repented of their sins. 2 Peter 3:14-18 “ So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.” Also ‘many Christians’ are children of lawlessness. ‘“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but *the one who does the will of my Father* who is in heaven. *On that day many* will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; *depart from me* , you *workers of lawlessness* .’’ Matthew 7:21-23 What does Jesus say further about this playing out in the churches? ‘As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the *seven lampstands are the seven churches* .’ Revelation 1:20 But Jesus will remove lampstands from 5 of the 7 churches. “Remember therefore from where you have fallen; *repent and do the first works* , or else I will come to you quickly and *remove your lampstand from its place* -unless you repent. - Rev 2:5 And eventually there will be just two lampstands left: ‘These are the two olive trees and the *two lampstands* that stand before the Lord of the earth.’ - Rev. 11:4 I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 6:13-14)

Keeping his commandments is not only about the ‘Ten Commandments’. It’s about the whole law. Everything that God commands or forbids in the Old Testament and more. That law is not a ‘strange Jewish’ law if you reed it. Most of them are even the base for a lot of western government laws. The New Testament does not change the laws but explains them and does them. Jesus did not kept only the Ten Commandments, he kept all laws. People are hardened and naturally according to their flesh are hostile to His law (Romans 8:7) or pushing the boundaries. That is how the Talmud was born, which is not Gods law but merely carnal-minded tradition. It came into being out of fear or fleshly hostility, not understanding the law and breaking it. The carnal-minded congregation came with all kinds of questions about keeping the law. They did not understood the law because they had no heart of flesh and were not guided by the Holy Spirit. They asked questions such as: “Can you comb your hair on the Sabbath? How many times a day should you pray at least to please God? Is God pleased with me when I touch a unclean animal?” Also people who pushed the boundaries with questions like: “When do you find a fault in your wife that you can divorce her? When do you drink too much? Do I commit adultery if I watch porn? Am I lying if I don't swear to God?”. And thoughts such as: “I hate everyone but I am not violent so I keep the commandment: ‘You shall not kill’”. Those questions were answered by Spirit-filled prophets (Old testament), as well as not Spirit-filled rabbi’s (Talmud) who thought they knew what it said and how to interpret it. To keep the law by faith and love doesn’t mean we are able to keep all the laws. For instance, the laws for women, only women can keep, the laws for men only men can keep, the priestly laws only priests can keep, the temple laws we can’t keep because there is no physical temple. We can keep the laws according to the limits of our lives and beings. For instance, not working on the sabbath doesn’t count for the service of the priest although it is their job (Matthew 12:5), David eating the showbread of the temple (1 Sam. 21-22, Matthew 12:3-4), or Rahab who was counted righteous because of lying to her own to hide the spies (Joshua 2:8 - 11). By Jesus his coming and resurrection there are some things dat shifted to other people but not changed the law. God does not change. What he finds good or bad, just or unjust, righteous or unrighteous does not change. In the case of the sacrificial system: the sacrificial system is not done away with. It’s very much still in effect but was put upon another. Jesus is the high priest in heaven (Hebrews 8:1-6). On earth there is no temple now. However, when the heavenly Jerusalem comes, people of all nations will come and bring their sacrifices. Isaiah 56:6-8; Zechariah 14:16; and Jeremiah 33:15-18. In Ezekiel 40, the Lord begins to give details of the temple that will exist during the millennial kingdom. (Ezekiel 40:01-48:35) It will be those from the lineage of Zadok / צָדוֹק (which means righteousness) who are going to minister the renewed system. However, it must be remembered that animal sacrifice never removed the sin that spiritually separated a person from the Lord (Hebrews 10:1-4). Therefore it is a misconception to think that animal sacrifices took away sins under the Old Covenant, and it is a misconception to think they will do so in within the new Jerusalem. Animal sacrifices served as object lessons for the sinner, that sin was and is a horrible offense against God, and that the result of sin is death. Likewise the Lord’s Supper is a reminder of the death of Christ to the Church today, animal sacrifices will be a reminder during the millennial kingdom. Animal sacrifices will serve that purpose (Hebrews 10:3). The role of high priest is appointed to Jesus (Melchi-tsaddik - מַלְכִּי־צֶדֶק translated as ‘the King of righteousness’) and his followers (Beni-tzadok - בְנֵֽי־צָדוֹק - the sons of righteousness) to rule that system. Whether present or future during the millennial kingdom (Romans 12:1, 1 Peter 2:5, Titus 2:14, Revelation 1:6, Revelation 5:10, Rev 20:6) *The law and sin* Sin is more than transgression of the law. For Jesus says: “if anyone even look at a women with lust, he already committed sin in his heart. So if one keeps the commandment that says: ‘don’t commit adultery’, this doesn’t mean someone did not sin, because sinning is more than actions alone. Sinning is from the heart. It’s somewhat the same with the sacrificial system. It is a misconception to think that by keeping the written law one can enter the kingdom, and it is a misconception to think sinning is only a transgression of the written law. Romans 3:20 says, “Because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.” The law came to show the will of God for mankind. Not so one can be self-righteous, but to show Gods righteous character. By the renewing of our hearts we don’t want to even look at a women with lust. Yes, sin is transgression of the law of Mozes, but sin is much more than only transgression of that written law. Adam and Eve sinned because they had eaten the of the forbidden fruit.. Kain had sinned because of his sacrifice and killing of Abel. Noah was to bring extra pairs of clean animals to sacrifice. Even before the written code came. The law has been present even before Moses his written code. ‘Each one should remain in the condition in which he was called’ means not what most people think. Paul did not stay in the condition in which he was called himself. He changed his whole being, his job, his responsibilities. The same Paul who saith: “that if you accept circumcision, Christ will be of no advantage to you.” (Galatians 5:2) circumcised Timothy. (Acts 16:3).

Again, Paul is one of the most misunderstood disciples of all. It may look like he is saying one thing, but other writings would say another. Also it looks like he is preaching something else as Jesus or the apostles but he is not. Paul talks in concepts. It’s dangerous for some to read him because they can fall into a faith without the law (lawlessness). Considering the ‘food’ laws. They are never done away with. The Law of God says what foods are and what is not food. It is a context issue. We can not eat human flesh, while maybe some cultures consider it food, the Law of God doesn’t. The same with unclean animals. God does not consider them ‘food’, although some cultures do. I will explain what I mean. Mar 7:19 - “because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?” - Jesus was speaking here about the washing of the hands of the pharisaic customs (Talmud). Not about unclean animals who are counted good for consumption. (Mat 15:20 - “These are the things which defile a man, but *to eat with unwashed hands* does not defile a man.”) - Isaiah mostly is a prophecy of the future. Here God makes clear he still sees the consuming of unclean animals as an abomination (Isa 65:4, Isa 66:17) and those who do eat it will meet their end altogether. So it’s still a sin to eat unclean animals. Act 11:9 - “But the voice answered me again from heaven, ‘What God has cleansed you must not call common. - this verse is also mostly interpreted that one can consume unclean animals. However, the Lord explicitly said he cleansed people that were considered common by Talmudist Jews who the Lord considered not-common according to his Law. It doesn’t mean there is no unclean person or animal anymore. (Rev 18:2, Rev 16:13, Eph 5:5, 2Co 6:17, 1Co 7:14) The old has passed away, the new has come; means our old sinful life has passed a way and the new life in Jesus has come. Not the ‘old’ covenant has passed away. The laws were set as a tutor until the heart was renewed unto perfect obedience (aka; justification by faith). Tutoring means one may learn Gods character. Learn from the tutor (the law given by God) what’s expected when we are grown in faith (a pure heart into obedience). ‘Blood and things strangled’ are not mentioned in the 10 commandments (Acts 15 & 21). Rom 10:4 - For Christ is the end (τέλος) of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. ‘end’ or in Greek ‘τέλος’ means more of an ‘end goal’, ‘accomplish’ or ‘perform’. That is also our assignment in Christ. To put him on as the perfect upholder of the Law. It is not in the means of ‘ending of the law’ or ‘ceasing’ Mat 5:17 - “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill (πληρόω) them. πληρόω - to carry into effect, bring to realisation, realise (to fulfill, i.e. to cause God's will (as made known in the law) to be obeyed as it should be). Because Jesus says: For truly, I say to you, *until heaven and earth pass away*, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is fulfilled (γίνομαι which means: To become, to be made, finished (when God will renew heaven and earth)) Matthew 5:18 To ‘cease’ or ‘come to an end’ is καταργέω or παύω which is never used in the Bible to describe the law except for the sacrificial system of temple (because the temple was destroyed, and therefore it ceased for now) Mat 23:2-3 - “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat, so *do and observe whatever they tell you* , but not the works they do. *For they preach (the law) but do not practice (the law)* The law (previous covenant) was never meant to save us from Hell (Hades) (Rom 4:14). The law (previous covenant) was given to show what sin is (1 Joh. 3:4). So; Act 17:30 - The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent (from their sins) Why? Because Jesus came to be an example and by his example we know now how to accomplish the law as it should. Do we then keep the law in order to be saved? No, we keep te law because we want to do good, because of the renewed heart that was promised. Was Paul misleading here? Was Paul a people pleaser here? (Ephesians 6:6) Did he search the approval of men? (Gal 1:10) or did he do it out of fear of anyone (2 Timothy 4:6-7)? Most certainly not. Paul did all these things out of obedience by faith, so that, after he preached to others, he himself will not be disqualified. Again, Paul is the most misunderstood writer in all of the New Testament. So misunderstood that people even know how to turn his writings into lawlessness (2 Pet. 3). Look at Paul's walk. He visited Jerusalem as the law required of him for the feasts (Acts 18:21 & Act 20:16 ), he kept the Sabbath as Jesus did (1 Cor. 11), he circumcised Timothy with his own hands (Acts 16:1-5), he made a Nazirite vow several times (Act 18:18, Act 21:23-24), he even made offerings in the temple (Act 21:26). He told constantly that he did nothing against the law.

Hey Brother….I really appreciate your sincere desire to teach the Bible. But you are SO SO WRONG when it Comes to Galatians. You are just regurgitating the supersessionism lies. I would highly recommend who read after Pastor Lancaster of Beth Immanuel.

Matter and energy cannot be created nor destroyed, therefore no matter nor energy would’ve existed to do the causing. Consequently, whatever did cause the universe to exist, would need to be immaterial and exist beyond time and space! Genesis 1: 1 God creates time space and matter! The KILLER is, Entropy! Entropy is somewhat opposite of evolution and why did this come into the universe if everything’s getting better? Genesis 2:17 says death came into the universe through the first sin! First two chapters of the Bible not the 500th chapter or the thousandth chapter; explain what evolutionists have not explained; and no other worldview comes close to the Bible, in explaining it! The first two laws of thermodynamics! So the Bible explains how matter, space, time, entropy, and energy get here! DNA does not auto encrypt, it did not write itself the code writer is outside of the code. 3300 billion lines of computer code in 1 humans DNA, would fill the Grand Canyon 50 times of Books, let alone plant and animal DNA and it did not write itself! One person‘s DNA could stretch to the sun and back 61 times! Psalm 139:16 “in my members you have written many books“. John 21:25 “I suppose everything Jesus did the world will not have enough room for the Books, telling of it“! God made matter and energy, a.k.a., the first law of thermodynamics and DNA, pointing to himself; pointing to an outside source beyond the realm of the universe; that these things were made there! Job 38:35 “were you there when I created the lightnings and they say ‘here we are!”’ This is God talking to Job! 3300 years later, James Maxwell discovers that light rays and electricity are two forms of the same thing! The Bible Predicted telecommunications

First of all, no scientist claims that before the big bang there was nothing, as violating the first law of thermodynamics isn't an option. Second, a god creating matter would indeed violate the first law. Third, entropy describes what happens to the arrangement of molecules in closed systems. The earth isn't a closed system as it receives continuous usable energy from the sun, so entropy and evolution aren't at all at odds.

You're very good at chemistry, but your theology is suspect. It's time for Christians to recognize that Paul was a false apostle and his epistles (many of which scholars don't even think were written by him) should be rejected. Hope you come to realize this truth so Christianity can be saved from its present corrupt state. By promoting his doctrine you are opposing God's will in this area. So you are doing very well in one regard, but in the matters of salvation, you have a big problem. You should definitely think about this.

I am interested in learning more. Would you mind pointing me toward the scholars who reject Paul as an apostle? Thank you.

Try to read the gospel for your self. Like a little boy with a clear mind. Ask Adonai with His Spirit to reveal truth to you. It’s all in the Tannakh but some people has been blind. Sadly that’s in the Old Testament due to their unbelief.

In Acts, the apostles affirmed Paul and his writings. Also, there's nothing from the early church showing that Paul's writings should be rejected. Certainly, John's later writings would have rejected Paul's teaching if this was not meant for the church.
