My man! Got it first time. Your tip was awesome. Saw another video where you can unlock and back up data and more from logging into your Samsung account. The issue with that, if your settings weren't set for that from the start, like mines wasn't *SMH* . You wont be able to do nothing but locate and ring your phone. Awesome video my guy thank you.

I had an update which when done restarted the phone and wouldn't accept the password, even though it still worked in the old phone, the remote unlock was turned off and i couldnt get back into the phone, then i found your vid, thanks for the help, i did have to connect to the pc via usb as others did but i'm back in, thanks man, i was so vex that i was contemplating introducing the phone to my hammer and anvil, youre a life saver,,,sure saved the life of the phone,lmao.

This helped when a business colleague returned their handset with a password defined, but had forgotten what that was. Like a few others have commented, I had to also supply power (I plugged it into PC USB, but only for charging), as it only did a restart without the charging.

I saw it in another video that A52 has to be connected to a PC in order for factory reset to work and it's true! I was only able to do the reset when my phone was plugged in.

i did & when threw the reset but then when i went to start over new again it came up with unauthorized reset & wipe enter your details to authenticate which i don't have ? so it wont let me factory reset without details anyway

Thanks for this. Took me 3 times. Didn’t have to hit the volume up button. Once I saw the Samsung logo (like you said to look out for) I let go of all buttons and it worked. After it resets, select “Reboot phone”. Took a few mins to reboot.

Just continue with it, when it asked for pattern, ping etc.. click on GMAILlog in option which you should have all this info.
