Drexal is an alien living far away in the galaxy on a moonbase, but today is the last day of his long mission away from his home planet. Drexal's computer sidekick tells him it's time to review his passenger log and reflect on his time away from home.
The computer's review shows Drexal that he's experienced many anxious thoughts while on his mission, but his computer sidekick has helped him express his thoughts, feelings, and fears. Together, Drexal and his computer sidekick reflect on his anxiety and discuss replacing unhelpful thoughts with helpful ones in the future, or talking to people you trust.
You are not alone in your struggle. Remember that it’s normal to feel anxiety, especially as the world around us changes. Don’t be afraid to ask for help from someone you trust or find a friend to talk to about your feelings, like Drexal the Alien does.
Share our video series with other people you know and see if any of them relate to Drexal. It’s a fun way to share, and it’s essential to talk about how you feel.
► Do you sometimes feel anxious, or like some of your thoughts may be unhelpful or unwanted? Can you think of helpful thoughts you can try and replace them with?
