I received the buds 3 (non pro), and they are awesome. The BEST feature on these is the voice control ! especially at the gym when you are lifting weights .. for instance, while benching. You can quickly say "next song " or "volume up," and it works flawlessly even with all the loud music at the gym. The pinching can get a little finicky if you don't pinch it properly at the right angle.

I was impressed with these when i saw them in August until i saw all the complaints about the tips ripping, & bad quality control with buds sent out, so thought about the google pixel buds pro 2 but saw them in John Lewis for £140 & a 2 year guarantee if they go wrong, i just won't change the tips. Yep, when you put the earbud back in, the media starts back up automatically. But there are no little sounds made. It just starts playing the media.

No mention of what phone you're using them with or that the high-res Bluetooth codec is proprietary and only works with Samsung phones A couple of additional notes. The tips are proprietary The voice controls work without a phone, like when using with the Roku They don't recharge as quickly as my OnePlus or sound core earbuds. Wishlist: true multipoint, auto power down, LDAC, aptx support

Great Video! I just got mine working on Teams at work on my HP Laptop and also on my S23 Ultra and Tab S9. My hangup was after I accidentally hung up while using them on Teams because I was trying to "mute" when I was not speaking. I wish one of the sides could be customized so the long press would mute/ unmute, or maybe it could have separate controls for "while you're in a call" vs "while you're listening to music". 1:25 How do you know the percentage of each buds when they are inside the case by seeing green, red or yellow after pressing and holding the button?

1:40 has the battery percentages based on color written in the upper left corner. This applies to both the case and the buds. So if the buds are in the case, these colors will tell you the battery life of the buds. If the buds are out of the case, these colors will tell you the battery life of the case.

So everyone knows, do not remove the silicone tips the way he did. You are supposed to flip the bud up and then pull them apart so you won't rip them off like a lot of people are experiencing.

I just got mine. I can't choose voice commands like you can. I only have an option to enable bixby and that's it. What a sleesebag move Samsung! Seamless earbud connection also doesn't work between my Fold5 and Tab S9+. I have to swap manually O.o Software updated and logged in on Samsung Account of both devices. The sound amplification is super cool! It's almost clandestine, listening in on other peoples conversations, lol. Thanks for this video!

Sadly mine didn't get delivered today. I instead received an email from Samsung announcing a full quality control before delivery. Upon posting it to Samsung members app people started revealing many build quality issues including the eartips impossible to detach without tearing it. 😢😭

I've had mine for a little over a week. Sound quality, they are amazing. Everything else is lackluster at best. I am a giant Samsung fan, every electronic item in my home from TVs, Projectors, and Tablets to appliances and robotic vacuums are all Samsung. But the last few buds have just been unimpressive. I bought these specifically for live translation, nothing said it wasn't available on the Flagship devices yet. Controls - meh. I've owned every version of buds since the beans (greatest buds ever created). The simple tap anywhere on the bud for commands makes control extremely easy. Finding the very specific part of the stem to pinch not as much when you are doing something like mowing the lawn and need quick access. Fit - they fit better than previous in ear, but its still a terrible design. These as the bean style would be INCREDIBLE. As for changing the silicone covers, annoying. The plastic separates from the silicone when trying to remove them, requiring tools to extract the plastic from the bud. The info - info given on the phone is pathetic. The 2 pro and even the several year old beans give you left and right as well as case percentage of charge on the widget and in wear. These do not. They dont give you any percentage at all, sort of annoying. The video did show i can add multiple widgets to get the info however. Samsung was so close to making the perfect headphones and seem to have cut unnecessary corners. Hopefully, Gen 4 is an improvement.

If u set it to eq it quiets the buds by like 10 percent even at same settings as preset so I recommend setting a preset then use wavelet

Bear in mind voice controls has only English and Korean language options. For anyone not using English or Korean as their primary language in the smartphone, voice controls won't show up in the wereable app. To make the option show up, simply switch to English language in your phone settings, then go to wearable app and toggle the voice controls on to activate it. Leave the toggle on, now switch back to your preferred primary language and the voice controls option will still be visible. But of course it will only work if you give voice commands in English or Korean.
