A major company implementing a change in order to make money? I am completely shocked! Is it better to just make the transition quickly so that people are acclimated to it faster or is it better to draw it out to keep pushing the inevitable back? 3 years later and both companies are in the same spot. The only difference is that, with Apple doing it back with the iPhone 7 pushed for companies transition over to Bluetooth headphones. If Apple had just waited until now (of which people would have complained anyways), the market would not be full of great Bluetooth options. Apple's actions started a domino effect with other companies following suite and pushing the headphone market to be wireless. Apple removing the headphone jack 3 years ago turned out to be a mixed bag but here we are now and everything worked out.

Yeah, while that i have literally around 10-14hours of screen-time with 48hours of usage of my zenfone max pro m1 in a single charge. (Normal usage screen brightness in 50% in some bright areas rarelly in the dark at 25%, and in the sun 100%) It's absurd. They should certainly get more features and better batteries in their high ends. And for sure i wont buy a high end anymore until they stop trying to shit in them more and more... Tbh going from plastic to glass is a huge improvement for me personally (i don't drop my devices) and I probably would have delayed my jump from iOS to Android if not for the surge in premium material phone bodies produced around the iPhone 5/5s era. I bought my S9+ because for me it was the phone with almost no compromises. It had enough memory for my needs, a micro sd card slot, enough ram to not choke in a year or two, 2 great cameras, big battery, body more comfortable than the s8+, a headphone jack (it really was one of the reasons I went with Samsung), it was secure, premium and I loved it. I've had it for 16 months now and: they changed the look of UI so all the icons look childish and I hate it, they completely changed the camera app so that you can't open it and start recording a video, you now have to open the app, swipe to the video feature and press record (that's just... wtf Samsung), and the battery life SUCKS. I have to charge it twice a day. It used to last me 2 days comfortably when it was new, now I have to charge it in the afternoon if I'll be going out and coming home late, otherwise it will die. Anyways, the main reasons I bought my S9+ were: no notch, headphone jack, expandable memory and water resistance. Additional features were: stereo sound, great cameras, great immersive screen. When the new S10 phones came out, I was like: wow, that's kinda downgrading compared to S9... But when the new Note 10 came out... I've been a Samsung user since the Galaxy S4 and the direction they're going is making me seriously consider to ditch Samsung altogether. I mean, instead of a stupid notch they put even stupider camera hole. There was nothing wrong with the top bezel on the 9 series! It was small, it had all them sensors and a speaker! no need for an annoying black dot in the middle of the screen! Then they take the back panel design from the iPhones and cheap Chinese knock-offs and the ridiculous colours that make the $1000+ flagship look cheap af. And then they remove the headphone jack - the feature that they were proudly advertising for the past 2-3 years, the feature why all the Samsung lovers loved Samsung, the feature why we were all laughing at Apple because they (Samsung) were making fun out of them (Apple). This just makes it look like hypocrisy, and I hate hypocrites. And when I look at what Apple is doing with their phones: regular updates for older phones, battery replacement programmes, software that just works... It seems like they're going in the right direction, while Samsung is like an angry kid trying to prove a point. Anyway, I just want to say goodbye Samsung, we've had nice 6 years together. My next phone probably won't be yours. I just hope that the battery on your last years flagship doesn't die before someone in the industry realises how stupid all these trends are and makes a normal phone again, a phone with no compromises, just like your S9 and Note 9 series were...

Wth??? 90hz display is not noticeable or at best negligible for 99% of every day use. You won't notice it because most apps don't support that High frame rates. So the only thing you will notice is the horrible effect it will have on battery life. P30 pro also only has 1080p yet no one said a word about it being a bad phone.

I preordered the regular Note 10 device because of its size. It looks more comfortable to hold in hand than ever before as a Note device. Glad you mentioned about the screen resolution being 1080p doesn't look that different from 1440p. I am coming from S10e so 1080p on a 0.5 inch larger screen won't affect me all that much. 8gig ram is an upgrade for me and 256gig storage is more than enough for me as well so an extra micro SD card slot isn't all that necessary. I am also excited about the camera features as well. Now comparing Note 10 and S10+ or Note 9 for that matter is a valid argument considering the high price but I am just glad to be able to go back to using an upgraded S-Pen and relatively smaller sized Note for the first time. I guess the time will tell whether I will truly enjoy the device or not but I am hopeful atm.

Samsung definitely surprised us with the Note 10 presentation. I didn't expect them to have multiple versions of the Note series. I think that it should've been expected that the headphone port would be removed. The idea is to push for wireless headphones with the intent to keep innovating on that as well. I agree they should've gone with a 90 Hz display; especially at least for the Note 10+. A few things. Aluminium isn't soft, not the aluminium used on my iPhone. I have dropped my phone a couple of times and not a single scratch. Perhaps One plus is using inferior quality aluminium? Secondly stainless steel is more prone to smudges/fingerprints. Of course I will choose stainless steel over aluminium but this is just something worth mentioning. Another thing that people don't mention often is Samsung Pay. Bixby is whack unless you know how to use it. It's a voice assistant that is meant to be used alongside Google assistant and not replace it. Bixby does great with chain commands specific to moving around inside the phone itself. Don't make it book a cab for it but take a deep dive inside your settings menu without touching your screen once. Anyway, Samsung Pay. It's the best payment option out there because it (or rather Samsung phones in general) has inbuilt MST that replicates a card swipe. I can live with a 2 second delay with my Samsung Pay app as long as it helps be pay without reaching for my wallet at places without NFC payment. Basically any place with a card swipe machine will accept SP.

Hey Dave. Appreciate a couple of things you've raised beyond what other reviewers have been saying. 1: pointing out how the aura glow is more subdued IRL vs in photo/video. I think the price difference is irrelevant and will never be a deciding factor to differentiate the Note 10 and 10+. The only motive towards buying the Note 10 is it's size, and it's a completely valid motive. As you said it, the 10+ is just really, really big. Too big for a lot of people. But literally nobody would be like, "1100 is too steep but 950 is fine". I love small phones tbh.

Rog 2 is completely different phone its gaming first camera second thats not the case with current flagship they alwasys keep camera first it comes down to your preference gaming or camera As such the camera module is from zenfone6 So we know it’s decent not flagship level but decent
