Did you watch the video? In case you didn't, I said if you watch alot of KZbin , all of the attention around Samsung has been on S10, fold, and the A10-80 phones. Because of this it made the note 9 'feel' like it was forgotten when in reality it is arguably still the best Samsung phone currently available. I concluded by saying it is the best forgotten smartphone in recent history because while content creators have moved on from the device, it is still the best Samsung phone money can buy for consumers and prices will only get better with the note 10 approaching.

@No One If a title bothers you _that_ much, then do yourself (and the rest of us) a favor and don't click on the freakin video. The title is light years away from being dramatic or clickbait. It is also obvious from the title that the video is not targeted at current Note 9 users or uber tech savvy viewers. Regardless, most viewers know that YT competition is fierce and that to get views, virtually all creators have to be 'creative' with titles. Literally, it's a given. The Note 9 is _absolutely_ forgotten by many of the YT heavy hitters that I watch. When they post content, it's on new devices and they inevitably make comparisons to Apple, Google, Xiaomi, OnePlus and Huawei devices. *All* of them are either out of my price range, not supported by my carrier or the big draws are functions/apps that I'd never, ever use. I just switched from a failing Galaxy S4 to a hand-me-down iPhone 8 (that I hate with a passion). I'm getting a hand-me-down Note 9 in August so I figured it was time to get up to speed on what the thing does. This is my first stop and the video (including title) is both accurate and informative. Kudos to @Shane Symonds.

Whose forgotten? The Note 9 is fantastic! Because of the Note, I rarely power up my MacBook. The Note will never be forgotten, because Note users are super loyal. There really isn't a phone like it if you use the S-Pen.

@@FrankyboyLegend actually the s9+ doesn't have good enough battery to be recommended is good but not great. the note 9 hits that spot with the s10+ and it is 1000 which makes it useless against the s10 but if you dig deeper you can find it for 700 which is defffff worth it

@@reymitonovas3800I don't disagree on that, plus the Note 9 has better thermals and can handle DeX better. However, carriers and other sellers are putting more deals into S9/S9+ at this time of the year. Note 9 Exynos price has dropped a lot but Snapdragon version is still quite expensive in comparison. Exynos is very stable and has good software support but it also has inferior performance and battery life. I still get 5-6 SOT as I did with launch on my Exynos, but others have noticed draining already.

I've been a huge Note fan since the Note 3, because of the Bluetooth SPen and increased internal storage I upgraded from the Note 8 to the Note 9 & don't regret it. I currently went on vacation & forgot the remote to my 🔥 Stick & as my backup plan had to use Dex to access & play my movies apps Netflix, Amazon Prime Movies (TV Zion, Cyberflix, & etc.) This phone is the KANG of mobile smart phones because of all the features it holds within!

After using many different brands including Apple I have never had even near enough of a good experience as I've had with a Samsung, especially with One UI, which just doesn't seem to get in my way when using daily functions. I am definitely sticking with Notes, after this one I may pick up the Note 10 or whatever is the latest and greatest from this series.

Very nice. I gave in and bought a Note 9 yesterday, should be here at some point today, the price has dropped so I thought I'd try it out....looking forward to this. I've been an iPhone user since day 1, many other Apple products..XS Max right now (yeah, we finally got the "dark mode" a few weeks ago which I use also), BUT looking for hours at all the features and specs since Tuesday, all of the tips and tricks of this 1 year old device, it blows me away. It's just nice. I always played with the Note 9 in Best Buy when I'd stop in, would mumble "this is beautiful" (never really diving into the phone since it's a demo, lot of features were disabled) then have to walk away. ..lol I'm pretty psyched.

The Note 9 is my first Android phone after several good years with iPhones. I swapped over in October last year and have enjoyed exploring its capabilities. The changeover of data and apps went smoothly and all done in about 15 mins. Was quite impressed with DEX via peripherals attached through a USB-C dock. Almost forgot I was using a phone. This one's a keeper!

This is honestly one of the best reviews that I've heard about the note 9 so far this phone is totally awesome I've had it for about LSA since January I bought the phone and it has never disappointed me I'm still getting used to the phone because it has such great specs and the more I learned the tricks of the phone and I learned the settings of the phone I keep finding new things to do with this phone it seems like every other day this phone is incredible I recommend it to anybody it's one of the best Samsung phones that I've ever had I'm not even interested in well of course that would be a lie I am interested in the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 but I'll be happy to keep my note 9 for just another 425 years from now it will still be one hell of a great phone unless the Note 10 comes out with some are the most awesome newest Hardware that totally blows everything away then I might think about updating it may be a year from now but Samsung always seems to come up with the best most awesome coolest stuff anyways but like I said I love the note 9 one of the best ones I ever had one of the most powerful big phones that are still out there remember this phone's only been around for what 7 months 8 months at the most this is still a flag this is 100% flagship phone all the way and I would put it up against any phone and it would come out on top my opinion but I believe that's a lot of people's opinion as well

Its possible with Samsung app called 'Good Lock'. If you haven't used it yet, you are missing out on some great stuff. And that multiple window is just sub-app in Good Lock, there are many other useful things in there. If you are not located in US, you will not get it. But there are other ways to get it.

The note 9 is no different, people who say they have broken it must be absolute idiots . Go ahead and buy it or wait for the note 10, it's a brilliant device and build quality is as good as it gets. 1 great feature of the s-pen is that it bypasses screenshot detection that's embedded in some app detects. That accessory is useful in that case. Another plus is the liquid cooling. It's super useful when you're driving in hot season and prevents phone shut down.

Very true, note 9 praise and then switching to S10 and not looking back. I think the Note 9 is best for the tech savvy, and S10 is best all around consumer phone which is why reviewers cover it so much. I'll be reviewing future S line models but it will certainly be compared to the Note and will lose points for smaller battery and lack of S Pen.

I love using my things at its maximum, so with my note 9 i pluged in my usb c adapter and connected my gaming mouse, sound monitors, 22inch screen, midi controler, m-audio keyboard, usb c charger, bluetooth keyboard, and I dont remember what else :D and than using Samsung Dex, I was trying to compose some music in Music Studio. I did a search for PC lilke/pro like android software, and this is what I found: Painting: Infinity Painter Sculpting: Sculpt+ 3D modeling - Prisma 3D Music making - FL Studio (or Music Studio, cool but a little older) Suddenly I did not found a good video editing program, they all are pretty shitty for android xD Maybe you are not interested in, but this are very respectful programs, where you can create a serious stuff, on MOBILE. Love my note 9. Like you said, the more I play around with the phone, the more I find out it's capable of. And I've edited music tracks, put together videos from multiple clips, etc. Between my note 9 and my Tab S4, I rarely use my laptop anymore.

Any issues with screen burn? Any tips to avoid it? Because that's what's holding me back from buying it. I've heard story's of people getting screen burn within a week of giving the phone. Is this an issue I should worry about?

It is something that can happen on any AMOLED screen but I wouldn't worry about it and you can feel safe going with a device like this.

Much respect for your clean and absolutely awesome home screen setup. I have a question though, have you considered a tempered glass screen protector on that phone? I couldn't have the top-to-bottom one with the bezels included because I was using that same rugged case which would conflict with it, so I had to go with a slightly worse looking and feeling glass protector.

I am a Galaxy Note 9, 512 GB memory modle Owner, with an extra 100gb SD card since December. I love this smart phone more then any phone I have ever owned. I prefer to watch movies and TV on it over using my rather expensive TV. The picture quality, and colors are just so good, and every thing looks so crisp... better then any television I have seen, and better then any other non Samsung smartphone I have seen. I readily admit that I am a huge Samsung product fan. I have yet to have one of their products let me down, that was not an issue I caused due to rough use, or misadventure that was not Samsungs fault. I currently use the standard Samsung Head Phones that came with the phone, and the included charger also with no problems. I have a wireless charger also, but the wife always is using it, and as her schedule is much more hectic then mine I conseed the wireless charger to her. I use an Otterbox Defender as my case, as I would be devestated if something broke my phone. Are the Samsung cases nearly sturdy enough to keep this phone truly safe from drops? Other impact safe? I am fearful as my wife's Galaxy S9s', that she got at the same time as I got my Galaxy Note 9, screen cracked from a two foot fall onto tile in a Samsung case. She is sad, but I don't think it is covered under warranty. I have yet to crack a screen (big knock on wood) on any phone. I have had the iPhone, iPhone 3gs (fuck Apple, they screwed me badly, so I won't ever go back), Galaxy S1, Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5 (my God I loved that phone - water and dust proof, with a replaceable battery - oh yes please, I had three batteries. It was my second favorite Smartphone), Galaxy S6, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S8. Then I finally got to handle a friends Galaxy Note 8 around the time I was due to upgrade. I fell in love. I plan on keeping this Smart Phone for three years, which is why I splurged on the extra memory. I wonder if I am the only one who started using their tablet significantly less, or quit entirely after getting a Note 9. I love this thing. I'm terrified of somehow accedently cracking the screen. My biggest question is what are the other Samsung products he has in this video. I have the Galaxy Watch S2, and his watch looks different. Those earbud things look quite intriguing. Can some one tell me what is all there, and if it is good. Any other recommended things to get with this phone would be nice to hear about. I use my phone for most of my multimedia needs, business, storage, writing and notes, and of course calls. My next question - any tips on protecting the screen with out significantly adversely effecting the screen responsiveness? Some of the screen protectors I have tried were terrible. Are the battery cases worth getting for trips? Does using your phone plugged in to the charger negatively effect the phones battery? Thanks in advance for answers and advice or tips.

Thanks for your detailed feedback. The watch is the Gear S3. A few years old at this point but still holds up great. The earbuds are the galaxy buds, I've made a bunch of videos on them if you're curious. Charging case is very useful for trips I recommend it

Multiple comments, got side tracked: I took my screen protector off because it was messing with my S pen experience. And the battery charges slowly, its not fast charging or anything. But it shouldn't negatively effect the phones bettery

@@danilofratangelo3784 it's doing great, but the battery life can only last for around 16hrs with moderate usage like browsing and texting. I'm still happy with it though cuz I'm still using the s pen to take note on meeting. Hope your note 4 can survive until note 10 is launched :)

In the good lock app in task changer you can make any recent apps customization into "mini mode" which cuts it in half
