Hi, does the snote open fast in your tablet?, because for example if i dragged from the side hover option it takes ages to open and it takes longer when i want to go to all notes. Could you tell me something about it?, thank you.

Can my 12.2 do what the 10,1 note can ... 10.1 can use s pen to write and solve math problems and with changing hand writing to math symbols... BUT WITH THE 12.2 we have to use another feature like draw a box around the text field and then change to equation ... thus is really slow and doesn't even do what 10.1 does like giving solutions and converting hand writing to symbols and text in real time ... Please help I've got the tab since May and still struggling...

Joe Harrison I think there are indeed two types of Samsung Galaxy 12.2 tablet. The one without the S-pen is labelled Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 (SM-T90x series) while the one with the S-pen is called Galaxy NOTE Pro 12.2 (SM-P90x series). I´m not sure whether you can buy an extra pen and use it with the Tab 12.2, for one thing the Note 12.2 has got a tiny opening on one side where you can store the pen and it also serves as a charger, which I suppose the Tab 12.2 does not have.

+Karl Conrad Can you do us all a favor? Can you take your exacto knife and pop off the button on your 12.2 S pen and tell us if yours has the 2 calibration screws(potentiometers)....because as i was drawing on my 12.2 tablet today i noticed mine had no pressure sensitivity, so i decided to calibrate its screws(i've done this before with my Note 8.0 tablet's S pen, hence how i know) and when i popped off the button cover i discovered my S pen had no calibration screws! So i dont know if i got sold a cheap knock off of an s pen or if Samsung changed their design of their S pens for the 12.2 models.

Is there a difference between the 12.2 and the 10.1 in terms of how precise the pen is? I can't decide between the two, I tried both sizes out at best buy and the 10.1 seems to be more accurate

the best: i use the app lecturenotes (+xodo pdf reader + calcu calculator in multiwindow) on the 12.2 version. it is the best note taking experience I have ever had

Lopez D so far I've only heard "bad things" about the tab A. it see, my to me that it's kind of an "introduction model" of the whole note series. go for this one or the note 10.1 2014 edition. IT WILL BE Worth IT!

10.1 or 12.2 from 2014 with s pen: you get so much more for the same money. if you draw or write a lot these are amazing

I don't like that you can't disable s pen docked detection like I could with my old note 8. I could leave the s pen docked and use either a bamboo feel or the full size s pen from Samsung. On this tablet have to remove the s pen from the dock to use a full size stylus which is annoying. Either haven't figured or the new s note or it sucks now. In the older version could make a folder for each subject and keep adding new files to that folder to organize my notes. This version doesn't seem to support that. Also the stock Internet browser doesn't input passwords correctly on several password required pages so am forced to use Firefox which doesn't support swipe text input. By this mean it will speel the words correctly but won't automatically put spaces between the words. You have to hit the space bar between each word. Overall after a few days I like the size of the tablet but hate the software.

Greetings All I have both an iPad Air as well as this gadget (Galaxy Note Pro 12.2)- does anyone out there know if there is an application on the Note Pro that allows me to take notes by typing rather than a stylus. On the Ipad, we do have a programme called "notes"- what about the Note Pro??? thank you :)

+Anthony Solomon microsoft OneNote should be preinstalled on your Note. It will take typed notes and drawing.

I had a Galaxy Note 10.1. This Note Pro 12.2 runs smoother with the S Pen. Just one thing though... the size of the S Pen.. Can't they make it longer O_o The pen for the iPads on the other hand is longer and bigger, there's a special case to put it in. So the specialty Samsung Note has is that it has the 'hole' on it itself to place the S Pen in... Only the length though..

I say this is really good for people who work a lot so they can do 2 pieces at once and it would be shook cool if it had 2 earphone holes and you could run 2 of the same app at the time E.g. KZbin then you could set on KZbin app to send sound to one earphone hole and the other KZbin app to the other then you and your friend could watch what you want without there video sound in it ear :D air think Samsung should do that

the worst tablet ever. check online you will see everyone have the same issue with this note pro and that is it overheat , restart itself, flash then reset itself when it under 70% or 54%. it is not a good tablet. i have this tablet and changed it 3 time and still same issue

I bought this tablet in early 2015 and never had an issue, still works as it did when i first got it. This is a great tablet for 2015 specs.
