hello, was wondering if you have found a say a lightweight yet protective case. I have had my tablet for over 6mths so far and I haven't found a case that allows for a carrying around faceplate cover. or say a case that will sit comfortably in a docking or stand. I have one that's foldable, and fits the tablet nicely without a case but when I have a case its not so fitting. I mainly am looking for a case that will allow for a removable face sorta like the surface pros keyboard/fold over cover. which will allow me to not have to worry about snap on cases which can add a bit of bulk to the tablet. also some of the snap cases tend to worry me when I have to take off and on. and it will or may damage the plastic rim. well I over all luv my tablet, and use for many things, notes, movies, games and love it ... very great investment.

planning to get a tablet... i suppose ill go for samsung rather ipad mini. i borrowed my friend's ipad mini 2 and yup its quite slow, the camera quite poor especially the selfie woosh quite sluggish and its also very uncomfortable to hold.. hoping and expecting for new samsung premium tab of 2015-2016

that screen is gorgeous. I am happy to see Samsung throw a big tablet into the mix because I believe a lot of users just leave them on a nightstand next to their beds or on a coffee table where portability is much less of a concern.

??? Do you have the LTE version there that isn't really out yet here in the USA? That unit is supposed to be Qualcom 800. Wifi model that you seem to have there is not, it's the Exynos octa core.

anyone know why samsung stopped making these tablets? I was actually trying to switch out my very old ipad 2 with a samsung tablet. this one has nice specs and features but i see that there are only refurbished ones in both amazon and samsung website Also i found some new ones in amazon but at an outrageous price of $900+ That wasnt the price of a new one two years ago i.e: $700

+Kiefer Walsh be warned. I bought mine in April. The battery now won't charge, and it crashes constantly. Nothing fixes it and Samsung just mess me around. Apparently hundreds or even thousands of people have the same problem, don't buy it.

one of the main reasons to buy this for someone, the "note" feature, ie. the pen, he gives about 10 seconds to. the review of that should be about 30% of the total review. it's the NOTE pro. as in, it has a handwriting capability. so he talks about the camera....

The one thing i didn't like was the MicroSD card slot over a Standard sized SD card slot in this tablet. I completely understand that phones only have a MicroSD slot for their size, but this tablet? it should have a full SD slot. Because SD cards go up to 256GB currently, with a 512GB arriving later 2014 at my best guess. Not to mention the read/write speeds of SD cards are higher than MicroSD. Although MicroSD cards are recently at 128GB capacity which is a good size, I just feel this tablet has the space for full SD.

In doing research for a tablet purchase I've been watching a number of Video reviews, and they all talk about the low quality speakers on these tablets. With the shear amount of Bluetooth speakers and ear buds that can be had from $30 on up, Its really a moot point on the sound quality, Because if sound quality is important to you, your already going to have an alternative speaker setup to begin with.

I am planning on getting a tablet before the start of fall semester in the university. I am a laptop user, Windows of course, but I wanna switch to a tablet that can replace the laptop. I would like an Android tablet, but at the same time Microsoft provides stuff like the MS Office for the Windows... As a student, MS Office is essential to me (Well, I have it on the laptop, but I would like the tablet to become my primary device)... Is there Microsoft Office 365 on Android? Or any other software? (Other than Google Docs) What are good Android tablets with HDMI and USB Ports. What are Android tablets that have a decent pressure sensitivity when using a stylus to draw, write? Other side things, how far can a tablet go with replacing a laptop? I mean, do tablets in general have softwares that are as powerful as and similar to Photoshop in photo-editing/digital painting and Fruity Loops for sounds? Can I connect a tablet to a guitar amp/HD Microphone in order to record? Basically, can it function as a mini-studio for these artsy stuff? (I am asking this while assuming that the answer is no, tablets cannot go that far, yet) Sorry for a lot of question that aren't directly related to the topic. I am really new to this whole tablet-stuff. I just got so many questions and ain't sure where to start my research about tablets at. My first option would be an Android, but if Windows tablet has a better functionality I can go with it as well. The budget... well up to $750, maybe $800 with a stretch. Preferably a bigger screen...

Ruslan Abu Sneineh Get the Surface Pro 3 or a laptop with a touchscreen. The tablets I have used such as this one in the video has been not as well of an experience as Windows or OSX. If you really want a tablet however, buy an iPad and an adapter for whatever you want to plug in into or look towards Asus, they have some that are decent with the ports you want but if you want a tablet to write on I am afraid you have to opt for Samsung or HP's Pro Slate 12. My recommendation is still to go for something with a keyboard as you will do a lot of typing in the university I presume, so go here and look or ask for one www.reddit.com/r/suggestalaptop

I bought this tablet from best buy one month ago. It stays in my oficce all the time and with the best care. It started to flash one day like every time I scroll down or up. Flicks. Also the battery cuts down to 50% after nearly two hours of on and off use. Best buy didnt want to replace and samsung wants me to send it for repair. I told them that after paying $700 dllrs or so I deserve a replacement rathered than a repair. I didnt pay for a defected item and they refused. I am so frustrated.

해준하 I'm still using this tablet to this day. I also have the note 10.1 2014 edition and original tab s 8.4. If you want the best Android tablet out now with a great stylus, go with the new Tab S3. It's a beast. Pricey though, still $599

Love my note pro. Just use the stylus on the keyboard. So much easier. Use it alot for my music charts so i put it on my stand. Bought a case for it so not a problem holding it.
