After an "incident" with a tortilla chip bag, I had an art project to do. And decided the shape of the OOPS looked like a rip in the fabric of the galaxy....so here we are!

For the future, when painting on fabric (yes suede can be considered a fabric) there is an additive called fabric medium (someone metioned fabric softener, I wouldn't suggest that). It makes the paint more flexible so you won't get cracks. You can add it to any acrylic paint. You'll find it near any acrylic display. I use it when I paint onesies that I donate to our local pregnancy center. But the galaxy was a wonderful idea! Came out beautiful! TFS

I taught galaxy painting to teens at the library years ago and we dabbed the paint on with paper towels. Worked great.

That's a stunning solution ❤. If the paint cracks, mixing fabric softener into the paint might be helpful. "Lone Fox" on KZbin has a tutorial about painting fabric to look like leather DIY. The galaxy is a beautiful 😍 work of love and creation 💕
