I hate fake videos like this. You're disassembling a phone that has already been disassembled and doesn't have any adhesive at all, so you're not showing how to do the hard part. Not useful.

mine had never been disassembled and this video worked 100%.... took me less than 20 mins to replace the battery using my mini blow torch to open the back, Excellent video, thanks!!

agree, the battery sticks much more than this. I use a heatgun from underside of the phone. It helps a bit but it's not perfect

It's not fake the heat let's the adhesive release
@dsofe48792 жыл бұрын
@@ohshepartdeamon9670 it is 1000% fake. The adhesive is resistant to solvents and only barely softens with an incredible amount of heat. Took me a solid 3 minutes to the screen with a heat gun and an industrial-strength suction cup to get the battery out, the heat actually damaged my fingerprint sensor and the adhesive was still not loosened. compared to that, the battery on my previous Note 8 had much weaker adhesive. This will have been my last Samsung phone.

@@dsofe4879thanks to the EU Samsung will be forced to give consumer replaceable batteries for all of their phone models, pretty sure it will be worldwide because that's the cheapest way for them. 😊

Hello, At 48 seconds into the video it sais disconnect the btb interface. The exact part the videomaker is touching is not in my phone. What is that part ( the small thing that gets unclicked with the green label?) could this be causing the green flickering screen?

I'm sorry to tell you that unless you use Samsung's official battery replacement. Its advantage is that it can solve 90% of the problems The disadvantages are also obvious: high price

@Carol-fe6nu2 ай бұрын
I liked that too, but this method makes it a bit better in case your phone is stolen. They can't remove the battery quite as fast, so you can still track it. Downside is that you are trackable and can't quickly remove your battery, and that you must carry a charging device because those x%#% screws are almost impossible to dealcwith.

Compared with old days when you just unclipped the back and pulled out the battery, yes, far too complicated. But, tbf, waterproofing and getting the phone so thin and packed with stuff will, inevitably, make changing battery more difficult. I'll stick with my second-hand S20 as it is for until battery degenerates more
