@@Puzzicanello WitRigs, but I wouldn't recommend them, I think they might have closed down actually. I've bought from Etradesupply a lot in the past, and they are better, but still not fully trustworthy. I am going to try REWA next. You could try the vendor list on reddit /mobilerepair.

The adhesive of the OnePlus 7 Pro is even harder to fully remove and get the back panel clean. I spent like 4 hours scraping and trying to remove it. That adhesive is very strong. I think i still have some of it stuck to my work table almost a year later

2:39 use a bit of isopropyl alc next time, or more heat. Also would advise to use gloves, unless you wipe fingerprint residue afterwards, or just keep the phone for urself. Sadly i can't put as much time and care at my workplace, time is money.

you can use turpentine to easily remove the glue. apply it to the glue lightly. wait 1-2 minutes and wipe away the glue. You'll probably have to repeat this 2-3 times. then clean with alcohol finished. I've often done this on cell phones. it doesn't attack the covers.

02:00 There is already a gap because of the phone heating issue. I also have that gap because that area heats up too much. I had already visited the service centre once and replaced that glue and after a year, the gap is opening again. But this time my phone is out of warranty.

@@RestoreTechnique It's interesting (but disappointing re manufacturing) - seems like the newer the phone is that you repair the more glue you have to remove and need to use to repair it. Brilliant production as always RT, not a single shot out of focus - you must have it set on fixed focus to avoid that annoying popping in and out stuff that appears in so much YT close ups.

@@JohnRowley Thanks JR. Yes I have it set to fixed focus 👍 Occasionally I forget, or I think I've manually set the focus, and I'll get unusable footage of my hands in perfect focus and not the device. There's a few shots like that that have made it to my KZbin videos, but not many.

I used original adhesive tape, did you even watch the video? Or does having all the facts conflict with your need to be hateful? I used a small amount of B7000 glue IN ADDITION to the original adhesive tape.
