Found it in another video, if you're talking about pictures and videos that is. Open camera, go to settings, go to "save options" and choose sd card and photos and videos will be saved there instead of internal.

Thank you for the video. I have just bought the same phone as just changed from iPhone to Samsung. I was under the impression that there was a double SIM but I cannot find SIM card MANAGER. Any thoughts? Would really appreciate your feedback

What do I need, to do when ejecting the sim from the tray so the SD card doesn't get messed up? I did it once on the Note 8 and all the music playlists in Samsung music were messed up some of them got deleted altogether and the recent songs were all mixed up. If you can make a video on that soon enough would be appreciated

What if you want to retain the info on the SD Card, from the previous phone, will the S20 recognize it, or do you Have To back it up & then format & transfer? I noticed when I did the "Smart Switch" from my previous Galaxy to the S20, the files that were stored in the phone memory, when transferred, all took on New Time Stamps,so now I have One Giant gallery, for example, for one month/day as opposed to being able to view based on when they were taken/created. I would prefer to not do that,again with the card.

Click storage then swipe left to SD card then top right corner click the three dots click advanced... then SD card then format... I have S20 Ultra with latest update

It is all installed correctly but it doesn't find the MicroSD. Please help. (I'm in Canada so I'm using Koodo mobile provider.)

I was thinking of getting the Galaxy S10 Plus because I thought that Samsung dropped support for Expandable Storage or SD Card because the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus didn't have one. Thankfully this one have it.

S20 is Samsung, that's the manufacture. Verizon is the carrier, but they sell Samsung phones

I just got the s20 5G so my question is what if I don’t want to format the SD card... because I have a bunch of things on it, should I just ignore the message? Also I’m unable to retrieve the things I have on the SD card once I put it in the new phone. Idk I need help.??

If the SD card was from an Android phone you are probably fine. If it came out of an Iphone I imagine you'll need to format it.

Can the SD Card be formatted and set as a Default for Internal Storage instead of the phone's native storage? I'm tired of manually migrating Apps to 'External Storage'when the native internal storage is nearing Full.

I am havin a similar issue, and when I move an app to the sd card it dosen't reduce the amount of storage used internally. Want to just be able to set up so any apps or data can go directly to the sd card.
