yeah thats what I noticed the most between the two, at the same price you have to decide how much power you need because instead of upgrading to a $1200 S24 Ultra you can get a $1000 more powerful iPad and keep your old phone or get a cheaper new phone and grab the iPad as a more powerful companion. On the other hand, the S24 Ultra with Dex and it's insane multitasking features and S pen is a truly workhorse do it all device.

The thing is, Samsung seems to load faster but it displays the app before it’s even done loading (it loads while u open it which is why if you scroll down it will start loading) and aople makes sure the entire app is loaded before it is even displayed so it’s faster technically

I bought an M4 iPad Pro for my daughter, for her high school graduation, since she's heading into college. We set it up, and she said she was going to play a game. She opened up the browser and started playing a web based word game. I looked at her and said, "You have the most powerful processor that Aplle makes in that thing. Don't you want to play something that uses that power, like Genshin Impact?" She shook her head, and played for another 30-45 minutes. I appreciate that the iPad is more powerful, but at the end of the day, it just comes down to use case and OS preference. I would take a Samsung device over an Apple device, all day, every day, because Android feels like it's only limited by your own imagination, where as iPad/iOS, feel's like your're limited to Apple's "Let them eat cake," walled garden.

Expected result but what I kinda did not expect was the internet test. It seems like Apple makes something better with the antennas. I have an Xiaomi 13 Pro and I tested it against iPhone 13 mini and it was weird because the best I got was matching the mini. Almost consistently better scores on the mini and Apple always uses previous gen Qualcomm modems. To be honest, there is probably no difference other than marketing between the modems. So the most important thing is the antenna in this case. Maybe Apple does something better with these

It's obviously the S24 Ultra since it's smaller and gets way brighter at 2600 nits. But it isn't really fair to compare with an iPad. In the tablet world, the M4 iPad Pro has some of the best displays ever. Better than the Tab S9 Ultra, which is previous gen, but still.

In places where more brightness is needed, like outdoors, the extra brightness is automatically 'unlocked'. In practical usage, the 2600 nits peak on the S24 Ultra is a lot more use case oriented. Again, the smaller phone means less heat dissipation, so lower brightness means less heat generation. The iPad has a lot of area to dissipate the heat. Also, the iPad limits to 1000 nits without HDR. The Samsung can go a lot higher with or without HDR.

Yeah, but it wouldn't be practical. It consumes way too much power for a phone to last at all. Even so, a lower power drawing M4 would be impractical. Smartphones don't need all the extra (frankly, unused, and useless) power since you don't really use heavy-duty creative software on tiny phone screens. It would just increase cost, while providing no real benefit.

samsung is fast for normal apps like instagram facebook and others but m4 the ipad pro is made for games to load faster
