As someone who personally disliked the past edge models, this one actually makes sense to me. This model is synonymous with "bleeding edge" or "razors edge", and not "silly warped edge display"

The only thing I dislike about this phone already is that insane camera bump. It sticks out so much that it looks like a case wouldn't even out the balance when placing the phone screen up, it'll probably wobble even with a case.

I had an s7 edge back in the day. It was my favourite phone I've ever owned. The camera, battery life, and screen were superb. Then, after that, i had an s9+.. another killer camera with variable aperture. If this turns out to have even a little bit of the flavour of either of those devices, i am fully sold.

Thin hype died many years ago. Why was there thin hype to begin with? Because phones used to be thick to the point of being an issue. There is no need for a thin hype unless it's related to foldables. You have to be down bad addicted to tech hype to care about a thin slab phone. It's unhealthy honestly to be hype for this.

I used to always pick thin phones since they were hype like more than a decade ago. My last phone before what I use now was still relatively thin. When I was picking this phone (Samsung A54) which is quite thick compared to my previous phones, I was wary. Turned out thicker phone is totally fine. Doesn't bother me at all. Thin hype actually was for nothing 😅

Good reporting on this mysterious phone when I heard the name Edge I thought it was a curved display but it's just a flat panel. should make a different version of a phone that's thicker with a bigger battery or some kind of pogo pin back plate because wireless charging is very inefficient and a lot of heat
