Marko P Marko P restart the computer and also the phone, of you can, do a factory reset and then do a wipe cache partition and do the whole process again or just reboot your computer and also try a different usb, if you dont see the allow computer message on the phone, try to run the first comand like I did in the minute (9:25) of the video, let me know how it goes

To anyone that has a hard time with their S8+ being stuck on "updates" on the samsung keyboard, you have to flash your firmware back to last years Android using Odin first and then you can follow the steps in this video.

Hello All, I am thrilled that this method has work for most of you if not all...I have been on almost every YT video in regards to this and nothing has worked. This was my last video after 2 weeks of trying........ Heres where my issues lie with my S8+ from Sprint: 1. I see the Settings button on the keyboard but its in a different location then where i see it on your phone. The phone does say its up to date maybe that's the reason for the location difference?!?! I factory reset and cleared cache in RM yet i still have the same issue. Also, My 'About Samsung Option' is greyed out not allowing me to click on it. Q?: Can I still continue without doing all the calculator stuff? 2. I attempted to continue without the Calculator and updating options by installing the Samsung Driver and the Minimal ADB Fastboot, computer recognizes my S8+ but the phone doesn't give me the 'Allow USB Debugging' prompt. Q? Does tha effect the ADB Fastboot? I copied and pasted 'adb shell content insert --uri' but after pressing enter i get this message again and again 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot'...I cant get passed this to enter the second link. Im just about exhausting myself trying this...Im tryna be cheap and not take it somewhere but sheesh Samsung really did it with their FRP lock.. Q? How can I start over and do the Keyboard/Calculator part when I can access 'About Samsung' access?!

Joséf Noël I I appreciate such a detail information as far as what you have done to your phone, unfortunately you need to the step with the calculator so the phone can communicate to the computer and get this process over with, the only solution that I know of when the phone is not asking you for you to update it is to reset it and delete the cached partition but since you mentioned that you already attempted this step I am a little trilled to see that it's not working for you I will try to find a different approach so you can get this done don't worry my friend

Scratch that. I got around it by flashing an older firmware. I still have an issue with the keyboard update button. it does nothing and then greys out.

Hi, sorry about the late reply. I didn't have the mic button in the keyboard in order to get into the settings at the beginning. I then flashed an older 7.0 firmware though and I was able to get it. I still couldn't get passed the keyboard update screen though. It said there was an update available but pressing the update button did nothing. Eventually I got past it by using the bluetooth headset method mixed with your method here. Basically, you call an emergency number and quickly launch bluetooth to pair a headset. Once thats done, you can just use the bluetooth headset to prompt a voice action and say "Chrome" or whatever. It'll load the google assistant results and you can search in the top bar for the calculator. From there on, I was able to resume following your instructions and get past the lock. Thanks for your help. :)

Try to run the first command, after that your phone should ask you to allow the connection to the pc

When clicking update the phone just stays on the update screen then skips to the frp lock screen. When checking the keyboard update again it successfully updated without asking any terms or conditions.. Reset and wiped in recovery mode and tried a second time to the same result twice. It's possible that your method has been patched. Know any other methods?
