Galaxy Z Fold 5: Black Screen? Screen won't Turn On? Easy Fixes!

I show you how to fix a black screen issue (front and back or one of them) on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone. So even though your screen is black or blank you know the phone is on. I give you several easy options to get your screen working again.
If you tried every step at least 7 times I'm gonna guess at least 70% of you should now have a working screen.

🎉It worked! Thank you! I have the first generation ZFold and was worried that it was just too old. After rebooting several times, it only temporarily worked. Then I did the massage technique, rebooted my phone, and then the flip screen worked! Man it worked for few minutes like first 10-12 min and then it was back to blank screen. Exchanged few emails with the Samsung team and lastly had to pay for the new folder at Samsung service center. I had expected better from Samsung.

@barice5813 the video explains the reason for doing these things is because a ribbon came loose after a drop. The acts are meant to push that ribbon back in its socket. If yours stopped working without a drop, then it's probably not a ribbon, and these things may not fix your issue.

I have this issue. Tried the methods and my front screen came back on eventually 2/3 weeks ago. But my bluetooth only works for music but not calls. If someone calls and my bluetooth is on the whole phone crashes. Now the main screen is dead and the front screen comes on but does not respond. Very frustrating and expensive piece of tech.

It's good and quickly sent to service center. 100% your LCD is malfunction and are intermittently dying off. If your warranty is over. It's is expensive to replace the LCD

Worked for me on my Fold 4 but only temporarily. It goes back out randomly. The tap method on the whole phone worked for me. Taking it back to get a new one for a permanent fix.

I fixed mine by turning off the phone, then start up in safe mode by holding the volume up button and the power button for five seconds. Select and clear the cache. Then restart.

When you buy this phone, have an extra 600-800 $ in case the screen stops working so you can fix it yourself 🥲

They will fix it for free under the manufacturer warranty if it's not physical damage. My Z Fold4 had a black ink line on the inside crease and they fix mine for free then I return it back to Samsung to upgrade to the Z Fold5. I just got my first black screen after 20 days of receiving this phone that's why I'm watching this video. The volume down and power button method just brought my phone back to life 😊

My flip 5 is less than a week old and encountered the black cover screen and then apps widget was blank and system IU keeps on crashing.
