Samsung should be ashamed of themselves and I should be ashamed for buying both the five and the six. If the vivo or xiaomi was here in usa I would have bought them instead. Coming from the Fold 3 this is a huge upgrade for me! I loved my 3, don't get me wrong, but there were a few things that bugged me all the time about it, that the fold 6 has addressed. I do wish they hadn't taken Live messages away. But , the Ai software more then makes up for it. Whether your an Ai fan or class it as gimmicky, I believe its here to stay and personally Love it! I use it on my PC for advertising and now I'm having too much fun with it on my fold 6. I found Noticeable differences in the Sound Quality and Brightness from the 3 to 6. iPhone was using the CPU for the render, while the other phone were using the GPU hardware codec. Not a real comparison. You need to disable hw acceleration when encoding videos.

I like the 6 but hate the sharp corners. Very uncomfortable to hold especially if you are like me and always rest the corner right in the middle of your palm. Even with a case . I sent it back and kept my 5. Great video. Best comparison i have seen.

I just got my fold 4 inner screen replacement yesterday - can definitely confirm the crease is extremely small and the same as a new fold 6. Your thoughts seem correct, I'm guessing the crease will 100% be more prevalent over time.

Great video, but are these phones still having issues with the screens cracking at the hinge point? It was a real problem with my F3 and Samsung refused to fix it after a year. They are a good idea but when folded the screen is to narrow to use daily, honestly the S24 ultra is the way to go IMO, thanks

I am on the Fold 3 and while I do agree it's a worthy upgrade there are a few hesitations. 1. The AI part is free for a limited time 2. Sharp corners, increasing drop crack risk 3. Current games and tools out there may or may not benefit from the faster process. The only compelling items are of course better battery life, and bigger inner/outer screen. #1 getting used to it them having another subscription bothers me.

As for fold 4 users.. i have noticed. Starting fold 5, no more settings for swipe notifications down from your power button.. This is due to hardware.. fold 5 and fold 6 using different types or sensors for the power button.. It's not a big deal .. but it's help even a small gesture. Just swipe rather than need to swipe down and cross your fingers all the way up the screen.. comment if this is handy for you❤

As a fold 3 user since released, i am still happy with this phone turning heads left, and right, yes, i get it new fold 3, but let's be realistic here the fold camera are not that impressive and the notes series.... i was a big note user until the fold 3 was released i made the switch but the camera are not as close to my old note 10 plus.... even my old gameing phone the galaxy s9+ camera quality is way better then any FOLDING PHONE!!!!

You missed the fact that fold4 is still king when it comes to screen brightness - 809nits. Nothing beats it. Am talking about adaptive brightness disabled. Thats how I use my android devices 99% of the time. My fold5 only has 730nits, and I could tell the difference even before I looked it up and confirmed it. Also they messed up the vividness of thr colors with oneui 6.1 update. My fold4 hasnt been updated for half a year now - it looks so much better, no cap! Really disappointed with my fold5, same thing goes for my S24Ultra..

There you will only fibd max measured brightness in hdr or by shining a light into the ambient light sensor. Youll have to visit the actual written out long review pages. It will be under page 3 - Lab tests. In there youll have to scroll down n click on manual mode. There youll see how bad all those chinese displays really are. Samsung are the brightest foldables in the world, no competition. Manual mode = adaptive brightness disabled. Manually set the slider to its fullest. Think it was 790nits for fold6. The chinese dont go past 600, lol. They fixed the s24 Ultra color saturation, btw. They added a slider in advanced settings. But not for the fold5, which is infuriating..

So I've had to recently had to send my fold 4 in for hinge repair(under warrenty) as it would not open to flat, since receiving the phone back from samsung the phone does open easier and does snap flat but I've noticed my battery life is about 20% less and gets hotter under normal usage.

My Z Fold 4 was repaired less than a month ago under warranty due to screen malfunctioning which I believe was caused by the poor hinge mechanism. To my surprise everything was replaced (inner and outer screen, body frames, battery and USB port). It is a brand new phone and it came with the transparent sticker around the inner and outer frames of the phone. It's the transparent sticker that you peel off when you the phone is new and unboxed. After having the phone repaired I gave up in the idea of upgrading to the Z Fold 6.

When u replace they hinge the replace the battery and screen from what I understand that's what i break u fix told me when they fixed mine it came back with new stickers like new said the hinge in connected when pulled apart breaks ribbon connections samsung has that way on purpose to charge them more for parts😢.
