37:59 This is actually great. I never been interested into folding phone because I feel like you cant have a great form factor for both the open and the closed state of a phone. You have to choose between a vertically long phone closed with a good form factor for movies while open, or a normal phone closed with a square phone while opened with giant bezels when watching a movie. But with a triple folding phone you would have all that, plus its a single screen that covers the whole phone, I like that!

Woof, I think the ProCreate segment is a huge huge miss. It feels like so much of the segment was missing the point that artists want to create themselves, there are no advancements in Generative AI whether by ethical sourcing of data or improvements to performance that would make me incorporate it. By and large, artists would not "flock" to an animation app where you can draw the first and last frame and generate everything in between. I love art and my art because I put my effort in to make it, the room there is for ML tools is like the ink lines from Spider-Verse which is a perfect example of a movie where a single frame being generative would take something away.

"up to 5x" Marques: "what kinda psycho...?" 😂😂😂 Exactly my thoughts. Who's listening at 5x That must be horrible to try and follow. I very rarely go 2x. But I do absolutely listen to KZbin in the car on my commutes. Many waveform episodes have been on the road. But then there's the many occasions I was wishing I was watching, just to catch facial reactions or to see if something is being shown. Then I'll go rewind to that particular place to watch the video when I arrive at home/work. Cool discussion idea, Andrew. I like that you asked the question. It's interesting to hear how other people consume content. And you're right, there's not enough time to watch all the videos I want to watch.

What are your thoughts on tri-folding devices? I remain preferential to the G Flex and not to the S Flex - I find projecting the folding display to be quite a great idea. It may be a bit semantical to say this, but it is technically a dual-folding device, since the Folds and Flips of the word are uni-folding devices.
@PSYCHOV3N0M3 ай бұрын
There's no semantics at all. It's not a Tri-Fold. It's a Bi-Fold. 2 hinges = Bi-Fold. Companies are so stupid and desperate to sound like their tech is more advanced than it is. To call the new Huawei phone a Tri-Fold is to call the Galaxy Z Fold 6 a Bi-Fold which is factually incorrect.

@@CurtisDishman but iOS notification display is such garbage, it's unbelievable they haven't cleaned that up over the years. On Android you get nice grouped notifications, while on iOS it's just all over the place. Sure you get fewer notifications on iOS generally because of the "no notifications by default" policy, but on Android you can even choose which types of notifications an app can display.
@CurtisDishman2 ай бұрын
@@JMurph2015 I used to think android had superior notifications. But after my experience I actually prefer ios just a bit. I like that its grouped based off time, so its kind of a mini timeline. But I’m also a chaotic person when it comes to organization so I will have that caveat out there. I also found that with Samsung the way you interact with different notification groups to be a bit clunky and not the most refined experience (my Pixel 8 pro I think handles notifications really well and feels more refined though). My time retuning to android full time made me see a few things that I thought android did better was not the case though

Oftentimes I just have videos playing while I'm going chores in another room and I'll just listen in on what's going on so I can go back later and focus on the visuals without accidentally mishearing something said. I'm also the kind of person that needs subtitles during a movie cuz I won't know for sure if I've heard some of the sister sounds properly and having that secondary mode to understand the context is helpful.
Audio books are the only thing I listen to at 2x sometimes 2.5x - because that’s how fast I read… but pods and videos - no no - regular speed.
