It's actually an on demand AWD. Most of the time the NX300h is fwd. The rear electric motors powers the rear axle with up to 50% of available torque when conditions require.

The gearbox aren't going through any gears. It doesn't have any fixed gears since it's an ECVT with planetary gears.

Hi, small point but if you load shopping etc always lean it to the N/S that way it leans against something whereas on the O/S it leans against fresh air and probably would spill everything out of the bag especially items that roll. Peter.

Nice to get your perspective with that new NX. I test drove one here in northern California at the end of last summer. While I enjoyed it, I opted for the larger RX. In any event, both are excellent choices in the Lexus lineup. Too bad your climate there didn't cooperate with you to allow a sunny day to enjoy that test drive.

I'm ordering one (used) and it's near impossible to find one with a almost full pano roof or "moon roof" like yours. There are a lot with sunroofs, which are the standard size, but none with the larger types. I wonder why people did not opt for that feature more in 2018, as it's a great looking feature.

Without moon roof it is quieter, cheaper and a little bit lower center of gravity ;) I have such roof in CR-V, and honestly I only open it in winter. In summer it lets too much sun in.

Thanks for your comment! I'm unsure of the answer to that, unfortunately. As I mentioned in the video, the Premiere has McPherson struts so its already set up well, but I imagine these could be stiffened in the F Sport.

No, I didn’t go with the panoramic roof. It takes so much headroom., so uncomfortable to travel in the back for adults as their head constantly hit the lowered roof.
