Do you have the 1985 game from Rupp Arena. That’s the game where Alford was suspended by the NCAA for one game for a minor rules infraction.

Looks like you titled this one wrong. This one is Indiana at Kentucky December 20, 1988. A great game from one of my all time favorite IU teams. For a team that wasn't expected to do much, they sure accomplished a lot. Thanks for all the great memories!

I think the title for this one is mixed up as it's IU, and UK at Rupp Arena

Galen Clavio, it's Indiana at Kentucky - 12/10/1988, not Indiana vs. St. Bonaventure - 12/28/1988. IU would win this one 75-52 for their fifth victory in a row. This IU-Kentucky 1988 clash would come just before the famous SI cover "Entucky's Shame" in spring 1989.

UK was in a full on collapse in 88-89. They had some talent (mills, ellis), but the shadow of the Emory scandal was really beginning to darken the future. Definitely not a good year

Can’t forget Eric Manuel and academic fraud as part of the scandal. And when was Shawn Kemp supposed to play for Kentucky. IIRC he was caught on security camera footage pawning(not actually having stolen) jewelry belonging to Sean Sutton.
