Poem by Elizabeth used in one of the soundtracks: "I grieve and dare not show my discontent, I love and yet am forced to seem to hate, I do, yet dare not say I ever meant, I seem stark mute but inwardly do prate. I am and not, I freeze and yet am burned, Since from myself another self I turned. My care is like my shadow in the sun, Follows me flying, flies when I pursue it, Stands and lies by me, doth what I have done. His too familiar care doth make me rue it. No means I find to rid him from my breast, Till by the end of things it be supprest. Some gentler passion slide into my mind, For I am soft and made of melting snow; Or be more cruel, love, and so be kind. Let me or float or sink, be high or low. Or let me live with some more sweet content, Or die and so forget what love ere meant."

He executed 2 of the 6. Let's not exaggerate. Both were sentenced to death for treason. Adultery in a queen was indeed a crime against the state for it cast doubt upon the legitimate succession. That could lead to a war that would throw the land in turmoil. It seems certain that Howard was guilty, but we can't be sure about Boleyn. I would not put it past her. She was desperate for a son and when that did not happen, she was history.

great video. I really love Elizabeth, one of the best queens. I wish there was a series that told her story from start to finish, not just her judgment. And that doesn't make her a very evil or good person. Because no one is too evil or too good. Also, they are making the series with actors from all over the world, not just English. For example, Turks from my country. Also, Catherine Elizabeth Blanchett's role as Elizabeth was great. Best actress who played Elizabeth so far. The movie was good, but if the movie had started from Elizabeth's childhood, it would have been excellent. Thank you for this video

The Blanchett films may not have been historically accurate but they were certainly eye candy. Costume design for Elizabeth was magnificent. I love that the designer chose unusual shades that would look ghastly on most people but were sublime with Blanchett's coloring. And credit to Cate too. There are not that many actresses so at ease in elaborate costume that they can wear it with such pomp and flourish. Geoffrey Rush was marvelous as Wolsingham.

Mercury was created in the early days when Wax Dolls became present in our world. It is a form of control and cleansing. And yes wax dolls don’t think Merc is yours now. The dirtied up Mercury is dumped on Wax Doll reset pit with the rest of you to create deeper pits.

6:54: I don’t want anymore enemies, as she said. Why would they be enemies in the first place? They wanted an easy life and regenerate their stock and lord over everyone? They thought that look fun and they wanted more privileges? I studied really hard day and night for 40 years this life time for if any achievements or abilities I have been able to develop. What you take would be a mere vessel and a title and what you have inside is merely rot and disease. Your soul is dark and rotten. How can a damp rotten thing rise to the top without the entire kingdom suffer? Why but they didn’t care did they? The man cried because he was a grandson in the first place and family. The female bowing before the statue is his female alter ego. The “Geoffreys” can go to Wax Doll Uranus if they can be cast in stone. This is why she said you can’t even be cast in stone and this is the end of your line. But the pattern repeats itself no matter how many times you “saved them. This Geoffrey still wanted to take advantage of the system and others and in the end no matter where they went the result would have been the same.

Although Cate Blanchett is a wonderful actress, the three films made about Elizabeth starring Blanchett DO NOT tell the truth about her life. All three movies are full of sexist drivel. In Gloriana, the filmmaker took it upon himself to EDIT the great speech Elizabeth gave to her troops at Tilbury. It’s one of the most famous speeches in English history. Not until Churchill’s, “We shall fight on the beaches” speech was her oratory equaled. Would the filmmaker have edited Winston Churchill? I don’t think so. Also, all three movies portray Francis Walsingham as her chief advisor. He wasn’t. Walsingham was her spy master. In the first movie, William Cecil, who became Lord Burghley is made out to be a fussy old fool. He wasn’t; he was actually her greatest advisor. Also, in the first movie, Robert Dudley is portrayed as the bad guy who betrayed her, which is just mind boggling. Robert Dudley loved Elizabeth his whole life. He lived and died in her service. When Elizabeth was told he had died not long after the defeat of the Spanish Armada, she took to her private quarters for three days. They had to break down her door to get her to come out. But hey! The filmmaker needed to portray her decision to remain unmarried as an emotional issue. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Elizabeth resolved never to marry in order to stay in power. If she had married she would have lost that power instantly. Nevertheless she still loved her “Sweet Robin.” Even after Dudley finally married another woman in middle age, Elizabeth and Dudley still loved each other. Their love began in childhood and lasted their whole lives. The crap dished out in those movies bears no resemblance to the real life story of Elizabeth Tudor.

The reason why the queen referred to herself as “we” is because there are two main reasons for her being a queen and not a queen and that she is a queen and she is a king and queen together in body. The two bodies system of a King and Queen was problematic too. The male feels unhappy if the woman is too dominant and it sets a wrong trend of males thinking it would be OK to dominate over women. The Princess, the consort of the King if there is a King is an inner counsel and would not normally be seen in public. The two bodies court was Isabell and Ferdinand and it didn’t end well either in the end. The assignation of Archduke Ferdinand was everyone saying we didn’t want that royal rivalry between the princess and the King.
