I love to watch these. It does something nice to the senses and makes me wonder how many others have been there in the past. What a great bunch to hang out with also. The train passing adds something special for some reason. I also really like when you add in some music during the panning scenes as you have done in other videos. Thank you

A change of location never hurts to find gold in another spot. Every change of location adds a beautiful BC scenery. BC is beautiful no matter where one goes. The more I watch you Dan, and the others, it makes sense why so many people got gold fever, ran into the hills and after giving their all, they came out busted. It's a rare thing for finding those 'nuggets,' that made a few rich on gold panning or mining. I think it would be an awful long time to get 'rich,' on the flower dust you usually find... I still wanna go fish'n up there!

Some folks would find that train a negative, but not me! I grew up in western Pennsylvania near to downtown Pittsburgh and trains are the main instrument in the symphony of my youth. Pulling out beautiful gold on a glorious healthy river as a train rumbled by was a daydream of mine from age 7! Plus, train track ballast contained amazing rock and mineral specimens sometimes! Thanks for giving me a MAJOR nostalgia shot, I owe you one. BTW, I have a gut feeling about your dream claim, it's going to redeem itself.

The family loves this claim for the trains. Hope you're right about the dream claim!

@@Danhurd This is my reasoning. That bunch that was poaching your claim were obviously druggies. That sort of people are not noted for their work ethic or stick to it attitude.....unless you mean stick to their drugs. They must have still been pulling good gold easily from somewhere on your claim because if they weren't cherry picking, they'd have been long gone when you showed up leaving their filth behind. Trust me, I know this sort all too well. You still have very good gold remaining, you just have to go a bit Sherlock Holmes. Best of luck Dan, I am definitely rooting for you.

Nice video (as usual) Dan! That river looks so deep where you’re mining,. With the gut of the river so deep and far out fork. The shoreline there, how does the gold get placed where you’re looking? Is it glacial deposited? I’d be very interested in the occasional quick geology video about your claims if you had a mind to make them.
