If only she had magician baked into a signature move and had a more traditional strong VGC ability. I love the trick dynamic but it doesn't look like it's really worth running over even default starter's blaze. Psychic/fire is a hype typing, I wish fire was super effective against fairy though. For some reason GameFreak thought it should only be a one way street.

Kinda hard to set up when you’re weak to a ton of common offensive types. Expanding force’s job is to get kills, and magician doesn’t really help with that, since consumables like sash activate before being stolen. Only fringe use I could see is stealing an AV to become omega bulky, but AV is usually run by slower mons, and spread moves like expanding force cause magician to steal from the faster target.

Grovyle + Primarina is really good. It relies on grovyle being cheesy and Primarina hits hard enough that this pair was used to great effect even in Reg G. It's only more viable now.
