used these for many years - no need for fiddling around with putting an "S" in the wire and feeding it over the tensioner - just put the wire in the slot and start tensioning with the tool - simple

I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THIS WORKS. IS IT RATCHETED, SO THAT IT DOESN'T LOOSEN AFTER YOU HAVE TIGHTENED IT?
