It definitely is, there’s not too many of them left unfortunately. The area in this area was pretty rugged, the average hiker would have no interest in this area lol

I'm pretty sure I know where that waterfall ("Koomer Falls") is. For the sake of keeping it from being swarmed, I'll just say that I found it when going off trail, between the parking lot and Rough Trail. Neat little area. I traverse that series of drops with the runoff, but didn't find much of interest. Well, aside from the bugs...it was June.

Most people would have a hard time finding a way below the cliffline, I’d like to see how that falls looks with good flow on it.

I have it on GAIA. I found a downloadable map layer online for it.

Suspension bridge is in limbo the last I heard. The USFS employee that headed up the project retired recently...maybe they will find another worthy employee or contract it out? We will see.

Charlie commented on a FB post about seeing if they’d contract him to do it. Hopefully they will since he’s dealt with the suspension bridge in the past 🤞🏼
