Hidden Waterfalls of Red River Gorge

In today’s video we check out a couple hidden waterfalls tucked away in Red River Gorge. Even though there are several nice waterfalls in Red River Gorge, they are all very rain dependent as they’re all on small branches and creeks. Usually during the summer months waterfalls dry up to a trickle. By surprise, on 7/30/21, RRG was hit with 5-6” of rain! Wish I could’ve made it up that morning but couldn’t and had to settle for the day after.
I hurt my knee not even halfway through this hike and lost focus on getting footage so I apologize for a little shorter video than usual, hope you like it anyway 😅

Chimney falls on one of the forks of the creek or in the holler between Chimney Rock and Half-moon rock? Can't say I have ever been in that valley after a big rain!

Correct but close to the head of the holler near Koomer Ridge.

@@ExploringWithDRob OK, then the right fork of Chimney Top Creek...the left fork heads straight toward 715 opposite Dog fork. Really neat collapsed cave system up that way. Thanks.
