Yeah Idk how you can be this beta with gnar vi akali jhin and poppy. They didn't try ANYTHING even though they were outmacro-ed from the first minutes. Fly had such significant advantages just from GAMs brain damaged macro decisions, that they didn't have to do anything except play safe, scale and play for objectives which they did and GAM didn't come up with A SINGLE PLAY. NOT ONE. If you are that clueless and are obviously getting hard outmacro-ed you HAVE TO flip shit and make it messy, its not rocket science. Literally paycheck stealers that are scared to look bad and get paycheck cuts next year. Despicable how they performed on the worlds stage.

i think the caster had steraks passive AD mixed up with bloodmails? steraks is based off bonus ad, bloodmail scales with hp like he was talking about though?

Sterak's scales with base AD (not bonus). But yeah, he clearly confused Sterak's and Bloodmail (which got mentioned 2 sentences later for precisely that reason, I assume).

Match aside, that caster/lounge chaos at the start was brilliant. They should do a gag where they casters are behind an aperture and actually physically reach through. Elsewise... USA USA USA

SPOILERS There are slow & boring games, then there are slow chokehold games. What a methodical W for FLY. From start to finish, just slowly bled out GAM until they had to make a move. It felt like Season 5 SKT T1 (I'm not comparing the two squads, just saying it looks the same). That being said, I don't think this version of FLY can stand up to the LCK, LPL or even G2, but they can take a few wins and that's good enough. If they wanna beat an LNG, Weibo or DK... they need to push their advantages sooner. GAM got herald, got 4 of 6 grubs, got 2 early dragons. You can argue what that cost GAM, but a better team will take advantage of the stall-it-out approach FLY employed this game.

Flyquest's peak is even with TL, but they were less consistent this year. TL looked very nervous vs LNG though. FLY and TL are both great teams. FLY played very well all playoffs and people weren't sure if that would continue on a new patch, but this was a very good sign for them.
