I wasn't sure if music could be part of my life .. for a while. Then I met Deaf people who loved music. I recommend the KZbin channel of ChrissyCan'tHearYou. She is very Deaf. She is educational but she also signs some songs in pure ASL. She's incredible and beautiful. {I'm 71 now.}

I just turned 47, too. I also started telling everybody that I'm a 47 year old man. What is it about turning 47 that makes you want to tell everyone? I really thought I would hate getting close to my fifties, but I find great pride in it now. I feel like I was born at a time where whatever the circumstances are in the world, it's perfect for me at this age. The '80s between ages 5 and 15, the 90s between ages 15 and 25 and the millennium between the ages 25 and 35. I mean seriously, was there a better age through which to live any of these decades? And now just as I'm about to turn 50, it seems the IRS is going to fall apart and the income tax will diminish to two or three percent. Just in time for retirement! Man! I LOVE PINK FLOYD!
