I believe gamb was by far the cleanest band there, followed by maab.

GA was cleaner. The MMB slow song with the descending woodwind run was nice. GA was all high school kids though....let that sink in.

For the most part. They have a few SU, JSU, Miles, and Talladega members in there.

GAMB needs muscle in their trumpet section. I like the approach they have with their arrangements but their trumpet section doesn't sound consistent. It could be the positioning of the camera and I am aware that it's popular for the french horns to double with the trumpets BUT because of the timbre of the horn. . . . a trumpet is still a trumpet and they can get lost within GAMB complete sound. MMB was the pit viper out there that day. After all the hype and listening to a GREAT battle for a couple of times now, . . . .MMB was a snake and they indeed bit GAMB! We knew ALL these bands were going to have power but after that.... to me ...it's how they utilized what they had as a total packaged band. MMB did it for me. I will say as a percussionist i am VERY happy to actually hear the signature War and Thunder sound infused with the voicing of Cold steel quints!

30/24 Music you right but you also gotta think gamb bones and Euphos are an absolute wall of sound. Not an excuse they just have higher standards to live up to
