You mean like how Georgia couldn't save themselves from their own demise on the field when their songs was literally falling apart? lol, dude, knock it off. Georgia was hella off beat on the field. Not to mention... How Just like in 2019 Georgia was on the field and New Orleans was in the stands Blowing GAMB's Back out and yall just stood there and took it. the same thing happened at this battle. Georgia ran out of songs, and New Orleans ran song after song after song on them, and they just sat their asses there and took it. Listen my dude., you rookies need to learn.. better yet, you're gonna learn that winning a battle aint sh*t if you lose the war, and Georgia did win a few battles, but over all lost the war. I know yall use to battling those mediocre bands out there on the east coast in the country, but in the deep south. it's a different ball game. as yall found out. Let's not forget how yall just barely won battling North Carolina Allstar band. everybody saw that too.

Man.. I usually don’t comment but I couldn’t resist lol. GAMB got this one just the same way SU wins 98% of their battles… with correct song selection and arrangements that fit the instrumentation of the band. NOLA is known to crank, they are powerful, however song selections cause them to lose. They chose songs that didn’t compliment their sound fully. GAMB they chose songs to showcase their powerful balance. Not just power. Both bands had issues, but it’s clear that GAMB had the clearer and more precise sound. I’m unbiased, I am from the H… didn’t March in a swac school but I’ve been playing trumpet for 25 years (just in case someone ignorant says I don’t know music lol). Both bands did great, GAMB just had better arrangements for their sound…. My bad for the long ass message 🤦🏾♂️

My only problem with NOASB in the stands is the placement. Tubas need to separate on opposite sides, and the percussion gotta find a way to get in the back. NOASB took it.🔥🔥🔥
@EarthAngel5042 жыл бұрын
Dude, i said the same thing, oh and they need to trim the drum section a little. Most people who haven't been recording for years, they don't know that Most recorders really pick up drums, and it decrease the sound of horns. but given they already have a big drum section.. they should have set up like Georgia did. Tubas on the side, drums in the back.. that would have made the tubas heard more, as well as the other horns.
@JROCKLENNY2 жыл бұрын
@@EarthAngel504 Exactly bro! The drums are too loud at times, and they tend to drown out the trumpets, woodwinds, and Tubas (who are already small in numbers). NOASB could have a fuller sound if they position in a different way.

@@JROCKLENNY yes sir,, very true.. i always try t stress that I don't care how bad ass your band is, If you are not positioned properly, 1 of the weakest bands can smash you.
