Thanks to NYS they make it so hard for you to protect yourself legally. Thanks to the supreme court’s ruling we’re now able to do so. Still have to go through the state’s process of getting arm’s which can take a long time but you can now carry for the most part.

A question: are you not allowed to post photos here on YT from newspapers or other media? I wondered why you only offer pics on Instagram. I don't have an account with them and cannot access those photos. Re a comment you made on 08:40 so far as I know you don't need a non weapon in NYS in order to be convicted of armed robbery - that by merely putting your hands in your pocket and acting as if you have a weapon that this is enough to warrant a conviction for armed robbery. Will have to look it up in order to be more certain of this.

Another well researched story. Thanks for being sensitive to the new homeowners and the pizza place. Hi Truck! One thing that always jars me about your videos, being from LA, are the parkways. They seem to be relatively equivalent to our freeways and built alightly earlier. But they're on a level with the areas they pass through without any barriers. That makes them incredibly noisy at all hours along with being dangerous to the homes and inhabitants of their borders. Our freeways are elevated on berms, usually with sound barrier walls. Twice I've lived quite close to them yet could barely hear their sounds, even just before dawn, the quietest time of day. I often walk near the one in my neighborhood and you have to be right next to it to hear any high noise level. That's Southern California but the same is true all over the West. I've also noticed it to be similar in Toronto. Why are New York's so different? Doesn't it drive you guys crazy?

That was how NYC grew from Manhattan lower east side to the city of Brooklyn and the eventual remaining boroughs. Yankee Stadium and Citi Field were built on farmland / forest. The elevated trains brought the masses out to those areas.

I was friends with Gerry's brother Carmine. I was a cop in Queens and actually responded to the hospital the night it happened. I also attended the wake. It was completely horrible for that family. Wow, those two "hit men" were horrible at their "job". They gained absolutely nothing from the botched robbery, and all they got out of it were prison sentences. I'm not much of a gun person, but I think if I lived in NY again, I'd definitely find a way to carry. Really sad for the family though. Not sure if you can find enough information to make for an interesting video, but there was a double homicide of two brothers, Joseph Licata and Andrew Licata, who were found murdered inside Licata's cafe; which they owned in Ridgewood. Probably a hit by some wise guys. Anyhow, thanks for another great job reporting on this story! Stay safe man, and as a tip, carry a trash can with you. You can cover the fire hydrants with it whenever you need to park in front of them! 😱😂
