This actually happened 5 mins from my home . It hit me hard in my heart . I have a daughter the same age as Karina . They could pass for sisters . I was SO hurt when this happened I went to the florist on cross bay Blvd. And brought a flower arrangement with a purple butterfly to the families house the next day . I think about Karina all the time and can't imagine how hurt the father and Mother are. May she rest in peace 🙏

I lived in Howard Beach when this happened and I lived on 86st down the block from Ronnie G the gangster with the big house on the corner. This part you probably don’t know but after this girl was killed there was a police car in front of the family‘s house every single day for a whole year. You have to ask yourself this question why did the family need police protection after Karina was killed. I went to see the memorial that you showed in the video and as I was leaving the father Phil was going there and I know him he’s a retired fireman he goes there every single day. The girl was brutally beaten and I’m saying did this guy Chanel do it or did somebody else do maybe sending a message to the father. A family wouldn’t get police protection unless there was a threat made to the family or the father.

I looked at him in handcuffs.. And I saw """the father and the mafia""". And I asked my cousin. I feel like this guy is a cover up. Or this guy was sent to murder her by someone bigger than him. I can't imagine coming upon that sight. Although you can find a decent area to live in the city, you're surrounded by bad element. You have to always been on guard and looking over your shoulder. You can see when you parked your truck, immediately someone questioned you with a suspicious tone. I love NYC, well, I did anyway, but I could never justify putting up with that way of life - and the cost.

What was she thinking? There’s all that open pavement and streets filled with people and she chose to go into a wooded area? People we must think before we go off into a spot where your chances of survival has diminished greatly upon entering that area. I don’t want to place blame on this young woman but you got to realize that there’s really bad people in everyday life! As for that 20 year old punk. Well I’ll just have to leave it there. And with a one is 6 trillion chance that it wasn’t him …they can stick their 40,000 signatures up their behinds. Are there any black males in prison that are guilty in America anymore? WTF he’s as guilty as Sin!

I retired from the NYPD in 2017 and me and one of my friends who also retired that year sometimes go back and forth about his guilty verdict. My boy says he was railroaded because of his mental state and I say he's guilty based on some of the evidence, but I'm not 100% sure. What gets me is that I remember hearing that he had some cuts not too long after she was killed and he said he had gotten beat up. That along with the DNA evidence and some other coincidences has me leaning more towards him being guilty. I definitely know that when I saw him on TV, I was able to immediately tell that he had some type of mental disability.

I have relatives who live in Howard Beach queens their homes are about 1/4 maybe 1/2 mile from the vetrano home. when I was I young and used to go there (mid 1960s) they told us NEVER GO IN THE WEEDS(SPRING CREEK PARK). it was full of debris like broken glass, metal from stripped vehicles, old tires and furniture just dumped there. Some conspiracies surrounding her death surfaced (her father did it, it was mob related, she faked her death so her family could collect some wrongful death suit or money raised from PayPal or some shyte) but imo this wasn't any false flag or hoax it happened and I grieve for the family and her friends 💔💔💔💔

Another really good video MDC, i think part of this marshy area was so known as a mob body dumping ground that law enforcement put cameras in the area for awhile.i see some good points posters have put up good arguments, but forensics tend not to lie and are hard to disprove, also , though circumstantial- no further attacks after his arrest, usualy a POS who attacks women like this will tend to continue till caught, e.g. Son of Sam

@ubuntuiqinisoofuna7852 I read a news article about the NYPD putting up 8 cameras after the fact. & it's weird how I am coming across these mob comments because I feel like he was sent there by the Italian mafia & this the first day in my life that I am learning about this case and researching..... because I saw the wings on her window today. """"Maybe my intuition could be right. I got this feeling Within minutes of me seeing the wings on our window. They my cousin lives 4 minutes away from her and she just pointed her house out and said all this is where the jogger you still live, she died. I was like who and that's when she told me to look it up online.I have been researching ever since about five o'clock PM yesterday . I looked at a picture of the black dude and literally saw the father and the mafia. And then I saw a different article where it said that he was casing houses.

I too was a victim once last year in a nice area when I got robbed at an ATM machine in broad daylight at 1:35pm while sitting in my car. The cops said it was partly my fault too because I didn’t have a second person with me which could’ve thwarted / prevented the crime. Later that week after, a detective asked me to come in & talk some more about it only this time he was questioning me about a possible crime I may have committed a couple of weeks before. I laughed at him & told him I was over 600 miles away at Annual Training in Michigan for the Army National Guard with over 300 witnesses / soldiers including some that were cops. I’ve since lost all respect for police. PS, I’ve ever been arrested in my life & age 60 now.
