Nobody likes "yo mama" jokes anymore right? They're stupid, kinda gross, and have been done by literally everyone hundreds of times. Just like yo mama. (Sorry not sorry, I was dying laughing to these at 3am, here are more that made me laugh and then feel bad and then laugh again) 1) They used to call it a jumpoline 'til yo mama jumped on one back in the 70s. 2) Yo mama's so big she has triabetes

This video went from me dying laughing at the trolls to reviewing my life choices and realizing that I, too, am in that vicious cycle of not knowing what I want to do, so I sit and do nothing. I distract myself with KZbin mostly and I had no idea advice would come from a place like this. I just graduated with my Associate's in Computer Science and I want to do Software Engineering, not because it pays well, but because I've always wanted to make video games. However, every time I've sat and attempted to do something about it, I immediately become demotivated and feel like I can't ever do it because I haven't been educated yet. I'm stuck in this cycle of not doing anything to solve my problems, yet being upset about being in my crummy situation and not making enough money to barely afford bills. I really do appreciate you leaving in the part about demotivation and wanting to know what you want to do in life. I never knew I would find valuable advice in a place like this. Thanks Carl =)

Thank you, Carl, for everything you do. I love watching your videos, and they've brought me laughter in dark times. I definitely relate to being unsure about what I want to do. I spent a long time in college and then working jobs in tech, and it wasn't fulfilling for me. I literally only did it because it paid well, and I was good at it. It wreaked havoc on my mental health, to the point where I didn't want to live anymore. I was always looking for a way out of that life, so I self sabotaged until I was fired from every job I had. I was unemployed for over a year, spent time in a mental health hospital, then eventually went to jail and ended up homeless. Honestly, rebounding from homelessness was probably the single best thing which could have happened to me. I was fortunate enough to have a car I owned outright, so I used it to relocate and live in for 3 months. I found a manual labor job which had opportunities for promotion, and eventually could afford an apartment. It was hard, but I found satisfaction in achieving something which was difficult. I always took the easy path, seeking high paying desk jobs where I worked in solitude, but it never brought me the satisfaction I desperately needed. I have also learned much more about myself in the process. I can withstand much more than I once gave myself credit for. I also generally know what I want to do with my life. I really like making things which are tangible, and I will design a career path which focuses on that aspect.

Hey Carl - got a lot of laughs through the play through, then cried happy but also sad tears on the cancer stuff your working on. This weekend is Mother’s Day, and also the 24th anniversary my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, and then she passed six years later when I was 12. It is really hard and sad that she is not here but I am so grateful that there have been so much progress for breast cancer research in that way. My older brother told me that if our mom was alive now, she might have survived so thank you for working on that for so many others including myself as a female who was/has worried about developing the same cancer. Anyway, thank you, and thank you for the amazing content always. Also thank you Davethelixard for amazing editing skills. Great content as always!
