I'm not really sure, but I think the tags are not exactly what the dev has chosen but also includes what the player who played the level have chosen for the tags, so in average with enough plays they usually should be somewhat correct.

The on/off blocks. When you get the checkpoint the pipe is blocked. But when you die and spawn at it its not blocked because of the on/off resets to what it originally was. The pipe is open when clear checking from that checkpoint

An idea for the checkpoint soft lock is that the creator has a bomb fall down with only a little amount on the timer so the only way to get the ending from the checkpoint is to wait somewhere around 495 seconds which wouldn’t be possible without already having the checkpoint or doing a clear check due to there not being enough time after going through previous sections, which would explain why the creator has the player wait for a mushroom I haven’t actually tested this but it is the most likely solution
