At around 15:55 Gabe could not have restood Ziegenburg because Blaze is, at the beginning of attack, if you have more Rears than your opponent, then you blaze. For Ziegenburg to even restand, you needed to have more Rears than the Blaster player prior to the swing. Ziegenburg wasn't blazing when it attacked because both Gabe and the Blaster player had 1 Rear guard and it wasnt until he swung that he got more so blaze didn't work. Ziegenburg needs to be blazing in order to restand. Also, on first stride, since Gabe denial griffin the blaster, he should have went straight for Ziegenburg since he would have put more pressure with the double swing. Gabe had 1 soul for Ziegenburg to burn Barcgal and if he called 1 rg, he would have been blazing and just double swung and forces the blaster player to guard for more. Just my opinion but whateves.

A "Blaze" ability only activates at the beginning of each of your attacks, if you have more rear-guards than your opponent does at that point. When it does, all of your vanguards become blazing state, and they remain in blazing state until end of turn.

Skyhigh731 exactly, he wasn't blazing at the point I indicated. You can't be blazing at the point I said because the conditions weren't met and timing wasn't correct. He had to have been blazing before the 1st swing since the restand requires it to be blazing already.

Skyhigh731 no, you literally said it yourself. "Beginning of the attack". Beginning of the attack is when you choose a unit to attack. This is before actually declaring target and what nots. If you already declared the attack, which in the case with zigenburg and him using berserk lord, your WAY past the beginning of the attack. He was not in the blaze state. Blaze state activates before declaration of the attack. Read the rulebook. You apparently don't understand the timing of how blaze works apparently.

Vortech's Channel if your opponent has a grade 3 vanguard than yes you can stride to grade 4 on the same turn you ride to grade 3

Riding and Striding are two different things. You cannot normal ride twice unless you superior ride through skill. You CAN stride the same turn you normal ride a grade 3, just as long as you meet the requirements to pay the cost for stride.
