Fun Fact: Mark Cooksey, the composer of this game, also composed the Game Boy version of Cool Spot and the Game Gear version of RoboCop Versus The Terminator.

I think this game is kinda underrated. Sure is a bad game if you take it as a Earthworm jim game, but it has some nice level design and background for the gbc capabilities. I find it cool

Damn... Lots of hate for this game 😢. I actually like this game and had fun playing through it. Sure, the baffling decisions, such as to not include mechanics like the worm whip ECT, def take away from the fun. It's also lacking in the humor for an Earthworm Jim game. But I don't get why everyone hates it so much. It's still a solid game with large environments and impressively it runs pretty well on old model Gameboys too. While it is certainly nowhere near my list of favorite GB games, it's not on my list of bad ones either. You want a truly bad disappointing game that fully squanders an IP...check out "Alien Vs Predator: last of his clan". Now that's a GB game that will piss you off. You can so clearly see what it COULD have been, but instead you get an extremely simple boring slog thru linear levels without even needing the predators weapons to fight. You need bombs a couple times but not to attack with. Even final boss is easy to punch to death. That's a bad game, this earthworm Jim isn't bad, just disappointing
