-Game Boy- Nintendo Commercials 1989-2000

If you hear the name "Nintendo", you immediately think of Super Mario & Co. But most of the time they think the same on the Game Boy.
You can not complain about what Game Boy still belongs to? Yes, the light was the biggest problem, but at that time there was hardly anybody bothering. I got one in 1990 and had about 60 games back then (not counting Game Boy Color).
Advertising has also done something and to make more money, which has become much worse today,
But the point is, without all the Game Boy franchises (and especially Pokémon), Nintendo would not have survived much of what we learned from Sega.
It was really the best ideas from Nintendo, what the inventor was unfortunately killed by tragic accident.
And one more thing, please, no vulgar comments, what I read in the last comments some users I have of course blocked, but I would not like to experience something like that again in the future is fair and respect you and the others.

I love how all of these adverts visibly show the screen to be brighter than the surrounding unit, suggesting a front/backlight of some kind, but no, all we get is screen-glare

You know, I had an idea for a Game Boy Classic Edition, and I think this Gameboy Classic Edition should have these features: -Have the same saving features as the NES Classic Edition -Have a backlit screen while still having the games in black-&-white with green coloring that the console is known for -Have the model be shaped after the Gameboy Pocket with all different kinds of colors (or get a special original model Gameboy version which costs more, but is a great collectors item) -Have wireless connectivity to other Gameboys for multiplayer & digital TVs to play the games on it with added color like it's a Super Gameboy -Have a rechargeable battery that can charge through a USB cable and these would be the games: 1. Tetris 2. Dr. Mario 3. Super Mario Land 4. Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins 5. Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 6. Pokemon Red/Blue (you will get one of these randomly) 7. Mario's Picross 8. I’d say it should have a toggle in the menu for the color variant of the games. Also some game boy color games to chock it up to 50 games as well. Other than that this is what I’ve been wanting ever since the original nes classic edition came out!

I wanted a gameboy as a kid. Never had one though but I got a DS Lite for my 14th birthday. I had no idea the original gameboy came out in 1989 as I was born in 1998. I actually got a gameboy pocket from ebay. It's yellow and I actually have a yellow lite thing you plug into your gameboy to shine light on the screen as from my understanding, the older gameboys didn't have a backlight. Here are a list of gameboy games I have: Tamagotchi Donkey Kong Land 3 Baseball(Mario and Luigi are in it) World Bowling Uno Yoshi Yoshi's Cookie Super Mario Land Tetris(planning on getting Tetris 2 next Friday) Quarth I got Donkey Kong Land 3 with a Gameboy Color I ordered. It had mushy bottons I planned on fixing later but the gameboy color no longer worked even if I switched batteries. It would not turn on anymore so that's how the yellow gameboy pocket came into the picture. The GBC was working when I got it but it was the buttons that needed to be fixed. I am gonna get another gameboy color later. I am saving up for it and being patient.
