Just found an amazing 45-min concert video of Delaney, Bonnie and Friends, recorded at Copenhagen, December 10, 1969! Jesus...guess who's in the "band"? Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Carl Radle, Bobby Whitlock, Jim Gordon, Bobby Keys, Rita Coolidge et al! Bobby Whitlock could be 21 or so; those chubby cheeks, curly black hair...and is that the B3? What a performance! Young knuckleheads reading this should know that's how these legends did their art! Watch and learn!

Please get this stipped down version on Spotify. What a treat, Lonesome last night and Game Called Love today. Touched me like Thorn Tree did 50 years ago as a teenager. BW has a soulful, almost crying, nature to his voice (think Roy Orbison)....easy to see this song playing over movie scene of western landscape....car drives away into the sunset and wondering what happens next. Keep em coming...just stunning. Seriously I haven't heard two songs that touched me like these two in quite some time.

I cannot tell for sure if you were turning your fingers or the strings at the beginning ha ha… I Believe I see a spot or two on the ‘board that could use some more inlay (not Islay; the southwestern Hebridian island that produces my very favourite peaty Scotches!); however, I would not want to make it gaudy ha ha! It matches almost all of your fabulous shirts - and it’s dulcet, mellifluous sound Has to come from solid rosewood back and sides! If I am incorrect, please do not tell me😉😎. Beautiful song. It sounds as though it was written to God, who never leaves us and always loves us. Thank you for sharing. Now if you could part with your guitar for a few years, we can discuss “sharing” in greater detail ha ha ha ha ha! Growing to love you two. God bless you both. Respectfully, Roctor

Another cool song .. If you have heard of the Theory ' Six degrees of seperation ' ? Then you are a friend of a friend of my Wife . She was Born in London & as a teenager used to hang out with Donovan .. she also knew Richard Thompson & John Martin & his woman Beverley .. Now I was born in Glasgow Scot's / Irish descent & I have met quite a few Musicians in my life .. I only got to see Eric play live once & I was a bit disappointed up until just near the end of the show when Albert Lee played his 'Hit ' version of Country Boy & the next thing you know Eric was on fire . The last half hour made up for the 1st half of the show . Eric can really turn it on when he want's too . Anyway altho like you I can talk for hours .. I will say fare thee both well & safe & hearty .. My wife & I are both Vegans too .. I mean once you know the facts how can you be any other way .. Today I sent off for a cheap thin bodied guitar ( I hope it will help with my shoulder problems ) But I also got out my old sketch pads & you have really reminded me how much I used to love to paint & altho I only started playing Harmonica for my 60th birthday I was getting quite good up until this Pandemic .. Now I can't practice in the house .. I used to practice out in the Forest when we still had our Dogs .. we have cats but they don't like my harp playing much . Where we live now is a place called The Forest of Dean .. & there are lot's of wild Boar running free .. My wife say's " well you don't need to be scared because you are the biggest Bore in the Forest " Lol I know she loves me really 30 years now .. My compliments to Coco for some very fine camera work & doing such a good job of making your channel work . Love to you & all the animal buddies part of the soundtrack . B4 I go I'd love it if you ever met Tony Joe White I met him once at a gig & I bought him a beer I was the only one in the University bar who recognised him & we got talking . He played a real great show that night . So enough from me Bye now stay safe . & don't feel any need to reply or anything that's not what I am looking for & I don't need any validation .. Most people thing I am an arrogant son of a B but that isn't it at all I'm really quite shy it's just I only play my own songs & so nobody can tell me I am not playing it right lol stay Frosty Bye

Ah its a song from your first soloalbum, wonderful🎙🎸🎵👌👌 Man this is phantastic. You are also a master on Acoustic guitar, its an open tuning but which one ?(okay ts your secret) i only had your first soloalbum one time in my hand as a Lp and even in eighties it was pretty rare to get.(somewhere around 1983) But i will keep my eyes open for your backcatolog. Collecting music is a bit like fishing it take some time.To me personal it is the real thing to buy the record of an artist on cd or like in the past on LP.It's a lot of work to write a song and then go to a studio recording it the right way.So it should be normal for everybody that loves music to buy the original. Its a form of respect and honor and it is nice to have the music that you love in good quality at home in your collection. However wonderful singin and playin and your guitar is absolutly beautiful.I can hear even from my smartphone that it has a phantastic sustain.Thank you for you playing and singin. I'm sure that if you had made a record with Elvis it would have been a giantseller (Phantasy Title Elvis Presley & Bobby Whitlock》 Goin Back to Memphis) Anyway. It s almost evening here in mainz while your day over sea must just begin. So have a nice day and a good cup of coffee(which i also drink right now)(Coffee is the best, followed straight by a good hot chocolat and Black Tea with Lemon)So long Have a blessed day you 2🍀 ⚓🧙♂️✌
