Dismissing Duane's influence,and then describing him as an inferior musician is idiotic on Bobby's part.And that's clearly what he does all the time.Duane was an absolute band leader,,Bobby is a sideman.

I'd totally watch a Coco & Bobby sample Texas BBQ travel show.

That band (because JJ Cale, Mad Dogs and Englishmen, Delaney & Bonnie, Derek and the Dominos, Leon Russel, George Harrison is more or less the same band) was the greatest that ever existed.

Just to show what a joke the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is, Delaney Bramlett is not in it.

Bobby, I grew up in Memphis about 3 or 4 years behind you. I’ve only known your work through Delaney Bonnie and Friends, Layla, and All Things Must Pass, and a few of others. I was so glad when you received your Music Note on Beal Street. Congratulations! 🎉🎵 Coco, you are the perfect person to do these videos with Bobby. I love the way you gently coax Bobby to talk about his musical, painting, and personal experiences. You need to invest in a a tripod so you can get into the videos too! Thorn Tree In The Garden was always a favorite of mine. It evokes memories of someone who was special to me. I think it could not be more perfect. 👍

This is a true honor to be recognized here. I've been a Domino's fan since the early 70's. Delaney and Bonnie too. You have such a soulful voice and always make the Hammond B-3 sing. You are so deserving of this award. Good luck with your painting. You have a true affinity for it. Thanks for all of your wonderful anecdotes of your Domino's days. I loved every moment hearing about my favorite band all time. Best always to you and CoCo.

Love you two so much! Every offering a gem.! And for free, no less! Re: Jim Gordon’s drumming - Jim held his left hand stick in standard grip; NOT match grip. A lot a drummers, anxious to jump on the R’n”R band wagon, didn’t take the time to learn the rudiments. Hence we have a bandstand full of bashers in the ranks. Some of them are good…but still…A real drummer knows that left hand in grip puts the ROLL into Rock And Roll! Take a view at a Buddy Rich drum solo and see the difference at it's best. Jim was schooled in the basics, which are SO important for ANY musician. As a guitar player, I say, learn the chords and the neck before you start to wail. BTW: Bobby has THE best shirts and any musician will tell you that a great shirt is key to the highway! xox!

There is always a bite when he brings up Tom down. But that’s beside the point. He is a fan fantastic performer, musician, and writer when he says Layla did not need the piano ending. He should immediately play Layla on road to Austin that proves it. It also proves that you do not needEric Clapton to be a super performer yourself. Also, if this is Coco, the same goes to you fantastic playing and the two of you are great complement to each other.

I find Bobby's art so appealing. It has the energy of Bacon, and the depth of Frazetta. I love that type of image that takes you someplace else, and Bobby's stuff does that. Basquiat had a great sense of humor as well, kind of like Bobby! Best wishes to both of you, and condolences about your Father. I lost mine a number of years ago and he is still with me everyday, remember that.

Beautiful painting, I couldn't keep my eyes off of it. Two black Swans with the sun going down on Lake Pontchartrain is what it looks like to me. Amazing stories to listen to as well.
