I just upgraded from an almost 11 year old tv to the LG C3 48" months after getting my PS5. Just thought I wasn't getting most out of it. And you are absolutely right I'm in love with the picture and gaming experience going back and playing games I played on ps4 and old tv like elden ring is a completely different experience it's insane.

If any of you are thinking about getting one, do it. From FPS shooter games to RPGs and watching media this TV has great features for it all. I got the 42". Its amazing

Truly, there is a night and day difference watching reviews from someone who for the first time experience an OLED tv in comparison to someone who reviews OLED TV for a living. Even with the C4 out in 2024. There is no shame in picking up the C3 as it also delivers more than you ever need. Thanks for the review.

I just picked a brand new 42 inch C3 from eBay with a 550 tax price tag. I will use this as a monitor, I have a 77 inch oled in living room, once you get used to oled, there is no turning back, it’s one of the main reason why I need to replace my IPS LCD panel

Not at all! If i do, it's usually the in game settings that have the blur option which i prefer to turn of completely.

I get ghosting in some racing games sometimes not all the time i don’t know why it come and goes though. Maybe game dependent

OLED is eye catching-ingly better than other formats I've seen. It's probably the only one that made me stop what I was doing while shopping and actually debate snap purchasing a t.v. on the spot. Will definitely invest in one when my funds are in order.

YES. Same here, oled was the first time i was stopped by a tv just like you mentioned. lol I actually used amazon's pay in 5. so i split my payments over a 5 month period!

I got this tv today for ps5 its top quality. My last tv a standard Samsung hd used to give me banging headache after an hour playing any game, this one no headache what so ever.. well happy with it

I just got mine today coming from a regular Samsung led tv that cost like 250$ this lg c3 OLED 48inch kills that tv it’s so freaking smooth and the infinite contrast is insane this is my first OLED and I’m never going back

I bought it a few days ago and honestly i am blown away! I am enjoying the games so mich it’s like was i even playing games before this tv??? Don’t regret a single penny.

I bought the 48’ for about 999 while it was on temporary discount earlier this year at Best Buy. My first Oled and I have no regrets. PS5 looks great on it and much smoother than the budget tv I was gaming on.

I got the 48” c1 but I wanted something smaller to game on and put on my desk . Just prefer this from Amazon it’s on sale $809.99 . Can’t wait to get it .

I think the c3 looks great in dark scenes but once in bright scene for some reason it’s blurry

@@fryroad hell yeah I play apex mostly at 120fps 4k. It also has a input lag booster so you dont get input lag.

Nice video, I just bought the C3 42inch as well, its not arrived yet. Only thing that I am concerned about is the the upscaled resolution when playing ps5 games on performance mode so to achieve 60fps. So would it be same as native 4k and if not, does 2k looks good on 42 inch or little streched? I mostly play games on performance mode and hence concerned about the resolution on panel of this size

It's literally perfect, i thought it woulnd't be. I came from a 32 inch monitor so i was used to wide viewing experiences. if you're coming from even smaller you might have a bigger adjustment but once you get used to it, it's hard to go back to anything smaller. You can also just scoot back a bit if anything. lol

Not really, you’ll probably want to get a monitor with higher FPS and faster response time

Do you use with PC? Whats your keyboard & mouse? Work ok with ps5?

Yes, well not PC but i use it with my macbook. I'm switching between some highground keebs as well as a melgeek mojo 68. moouse is a gravastar mouse. Have not tested those on my ps5 though.
