Hi Nicole: I don't know how I landed on your video, but I'm happy that I did. I really enjoyed your video, it was very informative. I've been dealing with severe hair loss, at the crown and mid-way down to the middle of my head. I had severe stress in my life, after losing my uncle, sister, mom, and best friend weeks apart, and my hair was just falling out and thining so badly...I stopped living and taking care of my hair. However, I pulled myself back up and started living again, as I know my loved ones would want, especially my mom and have been getting some improvements in my hair restoration and growth journey. You have encouraged me to see a dermatologist to get a professional diagnosis of my hair loss. You showcased some amazing products and I am going to check them out. My hair has come a long ways, but still has a long ways to go to fully overcome the bald spots in my hair. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. You just gained a new subscriber!❤

My daughter deals with the same form of alopecia as well. I’ve been using different products for her hair regrowth, but I’ll definitely be looking into the products that you recommended. Thanks boo🥰👏

I remember my Covid shed! I put all my hair in a gallon freezer bag to show my dermatologist. They usually don’t take you seriously. Everything I used did cause my hair to grow fast but it didn’t stop the shed. Eventually it stopped after 2 months. The hair I lost is coming in fast and I probably only see a few strands in my brush and when I wash my hair. I still use the Bosley shampoo because I love it. I really like D’fel’s oils too. My fav is the tea tree. It really helped with my scalp pain.

OH!! If you wear a wrap. To make your wrap last have several silk scarves to wear every night. It keeps your hair bouncy and flowy. Your hair produces oils and weighs your hair down , so to combat the oils you have to wear a clean silk scarf every night

As I am is not black owned. I was founded by Dr Ali Syed. He worked for Johnson Products and soft sheen for many years prior to coming out with his own line. The products are good but many of its users (Black women) are under the assumption the brand is black owned but it isn’t.

Thats a lot of products for hair loss that cannot be used all at once. Your hair looks great, maybe you can consider doing a video about your routine on product use during a give few weeks before you switch up. I struggle with alopecia hair loss too. Over use of some of the growth oils can make your scalp bump up. I go light onproducts and rotate products.

I have androgenetic alopecia and it’s patterned baldness on the perimeter of my hair. The hair in that area grows snail slow. It has taken a year to grow an inch. It sucks . I take oral minoxidil and use a compounded solution prescribed by my dermatologist. I was desperate and have to use it forever or it will fall back out.

Hello. I have Androgenic Alopecia as well. Have you experienced any side effects from oral minoxidil? I read weight gain and heart palpitations are a side effects. I know what you are going through. I get kenalog injections every 8 weeks. It has slowed down the thinning, haven’t noticed any growth 😭

@@NicoleFay I never knew you had alopecia areata!! It’s definitely a journey. I’ve had it it since about 10 years old. Unfortunately nothing I’ve tried has actually worked and I’ve decided to let it be but I’m gonna try vitamins and some natural treatments again and see if that helps
