How do you like the new SashiMori music? 👀 Also, there's gonna be a tierlist stream coming some time in June where I want to check out ALL the multiplayer music in Splatoon again. Stay tuned!

Hey there Chris. Just here to throw out an opinion here that the chords are not playing random notes. I think they are playing a repeating melody that goes along with the guitar in some sort of way. But if it’s random chords then well it is just random!

I like the lore and idea that, since sashimori get their music ideas from sampling old, disjointed human music, and that this sounds like an anime intro, that it basically confirms paul found a stash of anime and made a song out of it The question is, which ones?

Entropical sounds stylistically similar to the Opening Anything Goes from Kamen Rider OOO so it could very well be one of them

Fun fact about Sashimori and Splatoon music overall: in Splatoon, they speak a different language than any human does, which is included in their songs. However, Sashimori is a band with no vocalist. Their DJ, Paul, uses records that contain the voices of deceased humans. Ya know, because humans are extinct in Splatoon. But when they announced Seasource, I believe the JP Twitter said something about "a voice that has this innocence that transcends all cultures." I took that as the vocals being from a human kid.

This song is legitimately so hype-inducing, when the chorus kicks in it gives off such a huge boost of energy, like it's conveying to everyone "IT'S GO TIME, LET'S MAKE SOME MOVES!" It also feels very much like something that'd come out of a Japanese artist, I can't quite pin down any song in particular it feels like but it definitely has the VIBES to really fit in with others I've heard
@Huskie2977 ай бұрын
So glad I'm not the only one that feels that this song feels so intensely and specifically Japanese ahah Like, yeah, obviously the composers are Japanese themselves, but it really has something a lot of the other Splatoon bands don't

This sounds like a good Season 2 intro of a Splatoon anime. Speaking of intros, this reminds me of the old 2010’s WWE intros. Gave me a nostalgia from a different direction lol

so the reason the vocals sound different from this band is that they are actually using ancient human music for the vocal tracks. the octoling boy is a DJ and he is the one who mixes them to sound like their own language to use as vocals.

at the moment i still think that entropical is the best sachimori song, its just way too iconic and way too good however seasource is a close second, its only problem is that the build up is just a little bit weak unlike entropical which is amazing in a ll parts, though that is subject to change, but overall banger tracks, i have never seen a band as consistent and high quality as sachimori, seasource and entropical are S tier song like theyre one of the best in the series, amlgamania and chopscrewy are A tier songs which are bangers just not top tier, all of this band's songs are amazing, the only contestant i can think of is chirpychips which is saying a lot, im excited to see what this band have for the future
