If my memory serves me correctly, that cookie recipe came off the back of the Crisco shortening can, YEARS ago! I think it was around the time they came out with the butter flavored one? My mama always made them for my kids! We’d go over on Saturday mornings, to help do the “heavy” cleaning(baseboards, mini blinds, yard work, etc.) she would make lunch and chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies would be the reward for our hard work! Tip for ya; Put your Velveeta in the freezer, then you can use your grater & it'll work just like the other cheeses... Another tip is to grease your scoop/spoon with the oil you are using & your batter won't stick, spray butter is best. 👩‍🦳😊❤

My best tip for PRESS AND SEAL is to lay it on top of the glass shelves of your refrigerator as a protective coating in between cleanings of the fridge. Makes it so much easier. You have the same recipe for cookies as me! I love all the recipes for today. Thank you

I am the worse tomboy on the planet! My brother used to say, "the only person I'm scared of when we play football is my sister. She'll run right over you.". tehehe that's me! I once played football with about 60 guys on the annual Thanksgiving Day football game at Princeton High School in Cincy. I tackled the dude who was MAD that a girl was on the football field! Hi Mandy. The cheese you were trying to pronounce is Mun ster.Back when I was a little girl there was a t.v. show called the Munsters, is pronounced exactly the same way. As far as your recipes today they're great ! These all looked incredible!! My Grammy used to use butter flavor Crisco!! If you don’t want all the cookies baked at one time freeze the cookie balls. Store them in a freezer bag and you can bake as many as you want each time. We DON’T need a whole batch of cookies either lol. 🤣💜

If you ever use the Imitation Vanilla Extract, which is fine, Use a Half to a a Whole Teaspoon or Tablespoon more! Whatever your recipe calls for plus a Whole one extra! I have a very similar chocolate chip cookie recipe! I usually add white chocolate chips and Heath toffee bits for a similar taste but something a bit different. The base recipe is so good that adding different types of chips and bits is just a nice difference from one batch to the next. 😊

All of these recipes look terrific. I'll definitely be making the baked bean recipe. Muenster cheese is pronounced like Herman Munster. My go-to, for Muenster cheese, is in the toaster oven. A slice of fresh bread, layered with sliced tomatoes, and then Muenster cheese. Bake until melted. Delicious

I think you can shred Velveeta if you freeze it for 30 minutes or so before shredding. It looks like you are a baker after all. There’s nothing like Tupperware to keep baked items fresh.

We make a cheese dip with ssusage, rotel, velvetta, brown the sausage then dump everything in the crockpot. Once all melted together serve with Tostitos

I like the recipe for Hissy Fit dip a lot. However, I think I will add some chopped jalapeno to the sausage as it cooks, or maybe a can of chopped chilis to make it kind of like a "popper" dip. Sounds yummy! The bread crust 'trick' works for brown sugar too. Add bread to your brown sugar container to keep it from hardening. Love your channel.

Hi Mandy and Steven, I love the recipe for the Chocolate Chip Cookies using Butter flavor Crisco. It makes the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies. I love the Chex Mix I make it every Christmas for friends and neighbors with a bottle of wine and some chocolate candies or cookies. I may add the Cheeseit crackers. I add dried cranberries, and Chocolate M & M’s so very good. Also, I have been looking at the Caraway Cookware. I really like the white. I wish they would sell it on QVC. Hi Mandy, so I have a tip for you on the chocolate chip cookie recipe. Instead of using all purpose flour, I use cake flour and also add a heaping teaspoon of vanilla and baking powder. Your cookies will come out like gourmet cookies!! They are absolutely amazing!❤️

My Mom had a hand mixer she got with stamps when I was a little girl in the early 1060's, and it didn't quit working until something like 2017 or so. Also, we took the Oatmeal Scotchies recipe from the Nestlé Butterscotch morsels bag and substituted semi-sweet chips for the butterscotch morsels, and added a cup of pecans. It makes fabulous (oatmeal) chocolate chip cookies.

I use butter flavor crisco in my dumplings for chicken and dumplings. Also use it for my rolled biscuits. It replaces the requested shortening in recipes. Adds the butter flavor to things. Love it!!
