This must be his first play through. the thing that gave it away is he has 2 pumps on the water pipe going to the coal power plant. Thor, if you read this, I promise I not backseating, you do not need pumps unless your pipes are going vertical. water extractors give, I THINK 10m of headlift and then mk1 pumps give 20m headlift.

“I don’t like either extreme” is a pretty naive attitude when the two extremes being discussed are “I want to be able to exist and live my life without fear of being unalived for who I am” and the other side is “too bad, hide who you are or we’re coming for you”. You can’t be a decent human and hold the middle ground between those two. And before anyone jumps in with “Not everyone believes that”, we are discussing the extremes.

Healing should conceivably deal heat damage, because it is most likely light magic and causing your natural body processes to work on overdrive to heal themselves.

Hey Thor! You should check out Shapez 2. It’s an incredibly satisfying factory game where you’re building a factory in an infinite void to create various shapes. It’s even more focused on efficiency than Satisfactory, down to telling you the efficiency of each individual belt piece

I'm here to listen to Thor say something about Godot Stepping in it. Godot blocked me a while back because I asked if I was supporting a Game Engine or an Activist Group. and they blocked me. I'm a bit salty because I'm using Godot to make a my game.

Godot stepped in nothing and had nothing to do with it, Thor confirmed it himself. The outrage tourists didn’t do any research. Not that it matters, they just wanted a punching bag like usual.

The majority of your playerbase doesn't care what tools or game engine you use. If the game is good - they will play it. So just make a good game. Outside of that - is Godot 4.3 enough to make your game? If the current version you are using is enough to finish and launch your game, the license you got allows you to monetize it and do whatever you wish to do. Even if the Godot Foundation would evaporate tomorrow, you can technically still finish the game. Also - according to the license you are given for Godot - nobody except you has a say in your process. Even if people send you mean tweets - they have no legal power over you. Unless you are waiting for some very important feature to be added to the engine - you don't need to worry. You can just finish your game and nobody has a say in it. So you can easily finish the engine. So be brave - finish your game. Make a good game so we can all play it. Outside of that - do not give into the panic. As it was stated, no matter the political leaning of some community for the engine - the software itself is free, available and has no restrictions or demands on you. A lot of people are giving into the panic and switching to Unity - that 3 times already showed it can and WILL suddenly change how much money you owe them, retroactively at that. Godot engine cannot do that. They can make a 4.4 version of Godot that has a different license, but this means anyone can use 4.3 still as it was intended. And people can always fork the project if things go really bad. So don't give in to the panic - finish your game. And hurry up - people wanna play more games!
